Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Peru

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

5 stars all around! The view and the setting are magical. The house is brilliantly appointed and designed. What a dream to stay in this house!! We want to come back for a stay in every season to experience it again and again! The interior is extremely cozy while being beautiful at the same time. I can only say wonderful things about this property! Everything was beautiful both inside and out. The house was very clean and organized and was also extremely well stocked. Anything that we needed we found in this house. And everyone in our group said the beds were very comfortable… which is very important to me! Erik was great with communication and very proactive. He sent us a note about a week before we checked in that had everything we needed to know; it was quite helpful. I highly recommend this home….and as an added bonus, the view is spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

The best Airbnb I have stayed at! Lovely house, yard and surroundings. Private. Spotlessly clean, and comfortable, homey atmosphere, but spacious as well. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Easy check in with keypad. Friendly, responsive host. Short drive to town, restaurants, stores, sight seeing, etc. It was perfect for our group of five old high school friends! Would definitely stay here again.

Kelly was very responsive and helpful. She went out of her way to get us a last minute booking and it didn’t disappoint! It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable! I will definitely book this again when its available!!!

The Grafton house was perfect for our multi-family with the big space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We loved the living room area where we could all sit together for family games. The property and house are beautiful and the perfect Vermont vibes. As a skiing family, we liked the location between our favorite ski resorts. Raphael was a wonderful host in providing instructions before our arrival and helpful advice. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gafton house.

A lovely antique Vermont home with beautiful gardens and a sprawling mowed lawn. When we return to Vermont, this is where we will stay.

Laney’s place was very comfortable and homy. She was attentive writing us a nice note with all the easy instructions. At some point, the weather dropped and she reached out to us before we did to tell us how to switch from ac to heat. It was a great location to unwind for short family friendly stay.

Matti was a friendly and thoughtful host who made us feel welcome from the start. He reached out ahead of time with helpful info and made check-in easy. The place matched the listing perfectly—if anything, it was a bit nicer than expected—and was a great value for the area. Both bedrooms were comfortable and had blackout shades. The shower had great water pressure and was a nice way to start the day. Everything was clean and functional, and we enjoyed the custom furniture pieces. The location was another plus- it was easy to get around on foot. We walked to dinner, grabbed coffee in the morning, and picked up a few things from the grocery store—all without needing to drive. Overall, this was a great place to stay with everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a well-priced, comfortable option in the area.

Our stay here was perfect. Our host made it really easy for us to feel right at home, which we needed after a 3 hour drive. She was very communicative and even went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was my second time staying there. I am looking forward to the 3rd.

It was a wonderful stay. Whether you’re just looking to relax or for a little adventure this stay offers it all. Even though it was a rainy stay they offer plenty of movies, books and games.

Very lovely place located in a nice part of town. Mary and Lance were very welcoming and nice. We had a great stay and I strongly recommend this place for staying in Brattleboro.

We keep coming back to this beautiful apartment that is both spacious and elegant while feeling homey and cozy. It’s quiet, immaculately clean with a very comfy bed, nice hot shower, everything you need in the eat-in kitchen.

We stayed at Brian’s place during graduation weekend at a local college. It was in a beautiful country setting but was an easy drive back to campus. The beds were super comfortable and there was a nice view of the hills from the deck. Would recommend!

Best place we ever stayed! Mara was amazing and we had the best two days there. We got to spend time with friendly horses, cats, and chickens. We saw a bald eagles nest nearby, too. Front of the house was a peaceful farm vibe and the back was a gorgeous river view off the back deck. We enjoyed grilling our dinner and eating out back while watching the sunset. The deck lights were a nice touch. Simply stunning! Indoor fireplace was so nice too. Definitely book this place if you’re thinking about it! We will be back for sure!

This was such an incredible place to stay! The whole mansion is absolutely stunning, the surroundings and views are beautiful. However, what made this stay truly special was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the host. This was a wonderful experience and we are all looking forward to our next stay!

This was perfect for my son and I to relax in over a weekend at Pico. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we loved the fireplace as an added touch. Convenience and location were perfect; walk right out the front door and you're skiing with the buzz of the lodge right there - true ski in and out. We will definitely stay here again, for longer next time hopefully!

Beautiful old home full of an eclectic art collection. It served my group's needs well. Never did find the lockbox for the keys. Had to get them from the on-site groundskeeper, which was a difficult task given we had a significant language barrier. The outside of the house could use some maintenance, so if that is important to you, this may not be the place for you. My one complaint is that they expect you replace the paper towels and toilet paper you use. I would expect those to be included at any price, but especially for the price you pay for this location. Overall, it was a great stay for two nights and we had fun exploring the house.

Overall we had great experience at the house. The inner decorations were cozy and comfortable, and the design was awesome! The host was responsive when the new door lock had some issues. 100% recommend staying at this house!

The place is as listed on the photos, We enjoyed our trip in vermont, this is exactly located to the nearby places to visit in killington during fall season. Thanks for the stay.

We had a great stay at Marlene’s guest house. 15 min drive to Mount Snow and 5 min drive to the grocery store. We had plenty of space for two families with bunk beds for the 4 kids on the lower level. The air hockey table and access to the clubhouse swimming pool was a big hit. There were two tvs and board games to keep the group occupied after a long day of skiing. Host was also very responsive to any questions we had. Place was very clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend this place.

Anthony's house was an excellent venue for the weekend of our son's wedding in Williamstown. It easily fit the eight family members staying there with plenty of privacy on three floors and great gathering spaces on the main floor, deck, and pool deck. We're grateful the pool was open; the kids loved it on a hot afternoon of our stay. If you are looking at this house, don't let the backroads approaching it look like a liability. They are well maintained and allow easy access to Williamstown and the southern Vermont towns along route 7, yet the quiet location will insure you sleep well.
