Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Peterborough County

Tanya and Peter were very responsive and their place is so lovely! So peaceful! They really have thought of everything. Thank you very much! Would recommend to couples looking to have a unique place to stay and just have time together.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

Marilyn has graciously opened her home to me for the entire summer. the house has been very well prepared for my long stay. She created extra room to accommodate are larger volume of 'stuff' The house' kitchen and other critical systems were in perfect running order. Marilyn was ver responsive when I reached out with questions.

Sarah and Nigel were super thoughtful, responsive, and kind. We stayed in Warkworth for an extended stay and loved being a part of the vibrant community surrounded by serene natural landscapes. It’s a place for those looking to detox and heal ❤️

We stayed here for an extended long weekend and had the best time. The place had everything you would need for the stay. Our dogs loved all the open space for running around and would go up and visit the alpacas throughout the day. Gisele and Joel were extremely friendly and welcoming in all aspects. Any questions we had they were quick to respond. We will definitely plan on visiting again in the future.

Ryan is without a doubt a great host. I had an issue and I contacted him before 9am on a Saturday morning and he responded within minutes. He was always available to help out and is very caring. His home is just beautiful. The pictures I took of the lake reflect the beauty of the place and the cottage is very peaceful and it’s indeed a great place to unplug but don’t worry because there is wifi and the phone reception is very good as well. My family and I really enjoyed our time there. Thank you Ryan for making this an unforgettable trip for us!

Lyndsey’s Little White House was the perfect place for our girl’s weekend. Super cozy, quiet location. We enjoyed the spa and the backyard. Beds super comfortable. The house was spotless. We’ll definitely come back soon. Thank you Lyndsey!

We loved our stay at Neil and Janin’s Chalet. The Chalet is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The setting is tranquil, private and peaceful. It was especially beautiful at this time of year because of the leaves changing. Everything exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to returning!

Such a lovely spot. The views of the golf course and the natural light were magnificent. The space is tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed is comfortable.

I am working on Stoney Lake for another year and Owen's place is always my go-to! The Airbnb has an extremely large parking area for my large trucks, boats, and other equipment. It is always a pleasure to visit with the hosts and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings that their property offers. I highly recommend this Airbnb to families, contractors, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Kawartha's.

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! Wonder location on a beautiful lake. The house is on a smaller bay, which made for easy kayaking and paddle boarding away from boat traffic. The water toys for guest use were top notch, much better quality than the usual rental property.

Second time staying at this spot, and it was just as perfect as the first time. Very peaceful spot that makes great use of its space. Excellent outdoor kitchen, try clean washroom and the cabin is very cozy and warm. Fire pit is great for enjoying the night and watching the stars. This is a very cozy space. If you are looking to get away in the Kawarthas I really recommend it. Its very clean, organized, right on the water great for a family of 5-6. I would love to come back and stay even longer, a weekend was too short. No complaints.

Perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved being steps away from the lake, hot tub, and sauna. Only an 8 minute drive to Lakefield, and about 20 minutes to the Curve Lake First Nations reserve. Hosts recommended a nice farm-to-table spot that we really enjoyed (The Cheeky Duck). The Nook was just what we needed and I happily recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and kick back for a little while!
