truly a home from home it has every thing from airfryer to washing machine. Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Stayed here for 8 weeks while on placement. Great location, close to hospital park and ride. The room was perfect and had everything I needed. It was private and there was plenty of room. Would happily stay again.

While many Airbnb places overpromise and underdeliver, The Lodge is what Angela says, and more. It’s spacious, well-equipped, perfectly furnished, and clean. Angela and her husband, Derek, are great hosts, quick to answer questions (although everything is very clear from their notes), and hitting just the right balance between being available if needed, but not imposing. I have to visit the area at least a couple of times each year and I will definitely stay here again. If asked for anything that could be improved, the only thing I can think of is that for longer stays, a washer-dryer would be a very welcome addition! But that’s nitpicking. Everything was great, and thanks to Angela and Derek for a great stay.

We had a very relaxing stay, whilst there was a variety of restaurants nearby and beautiful scenery we chose to stay in most of the time in the cosy loft. A great nook to binge movies and play games with friends by the fire. Lovely hosts and pictures provided of the propery are very accurate. 100% recommend for a chill weekend and 100% stay again.

Fabulous 3 night stay as a family of 6. Cottage is bigger than it appears in the photos, plenty of room for all of us. Really well equipped, great shower, wonderful location, lots of charm. Children loved the cats that came to visit and looking out on the horses. Dermot and Anne were lovely hosts, really friendly and gave us useful local information along with breakfast items, tea coffee etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again. An absolute gem. We was ever so happy when we checked into drake lodge. It was so easy to do so and wow the place is amazing and the hosts definitely went above and beyond. There was spare toiletries that was not asked for and a just in case. The hot tub was amazing. If we are needing a break again and we are in the area I would absolutely definitely book this place in a here beat. Do not miss out..

We had a lovely 2 night stay and liked it so much we have already booked to come back this year. It is comfortable, spacious for just 2 and a very peaceful place. We really liked being able to sit outside enjoying the birdsong.

A lovely & pretty cottage, annexed to the main house, with a delightful garden & decking area. The accommodation was just what we wanted - roomy, airy, comfortable & light. The kitchen table seemed to be the centre of our evening activity (a nice big kitchen) & it was all very clean, with all the required amenities. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Nook. Rachel was a great host, very helpful and responsive, and the space was just what we needed.

Stayed here for a couple of days for a little getaway while I was working remotely & it was just what I needed. The place was cosy & I felt at home which was lovely 😊 The weather was sunny at times too & it was lovely listening to the birds in the beautiful garden. Very chilled space for us to stay - super close to Peterborough and had everything we needed amenities-wise. Our host was very happy with a flexible check-in which was much appreciated but hadn't realised the date we were coming (thought it was the day after) so the Airbnb wasn't ready for us. However she comped us a small refund which is much appreciated! I did hoover on arrival but I can't blame the host for this as she was expecting us a day later. Really nice, cool little room and some beautiful beautiful cats in the garden to say hello to!

Three night stay. easy to find with off street parking provided. A cosy property in a quiet but accessible area. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds Walking distance to the local village pub which serves food at weekends. Good transport links. Fives mins off the M11. We took the train into Cambridge both days 15 mins by car - 35 mins to walk to the station. There is a bus service (to local park and ride) that stops outside the property, or you can drive there in ten mjns. We liked the quiet garden patio area especially with the recent sunny weather. Fiona iprovided us with milk, tea and coffee, The kitchenette is compact and good for preparing light meals. Fiona responded to all messages promptly, she is on hand for advice if needed but also respectful of guests privacy. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family

The annexe was a welcoming, comfortable and quiet place to spend a few days, we would definitely come back again. Coton is away from the busy centre of Cambridge but close enough to seem really close! Thanks Karen for a lovely stay.

Lovely accommodation, well presented and well appointed. Having the outside space and parking also make a huge difference.

The Annex is a perfect get away place. Set in a beautiful village with amazing views and wonderful walks. Tracey was a great host , quick to respond and to make sure you had the best stay. The accomodation is well presented , with everything you need. We found the bed super comfortable & the shower was great . Tracey kindly allowed us to use her decking area to sit outside & the kids loved the space. We would definitely recommend The Annex 😀

Perfect place for our overnight stay. Lindsay welcomed us with perfect balance between being informative/helpful without being intrusive. We felt at home straight away. The place was spotless and beds very clean and comfortable. The beer to chill on the balcony in the evening and coffee bags to help me wake up for our early start in the morning were all welcome. Would stay again if in the area.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home—warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The space was incredibly cosy, perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring. The location was ideal, we booked for easy access to Santa Pod Raceway. It peaceful yet close to everything we needed. Jacqui was a great host - friendly and thoughtful, came out to meet us when we arrived. Everything was perfect. We truly appreciated the little touches, milk and bread, along with biscuits and jam! Highly recommend this gem of a place—can’t wait to come back!

We had weekend tickets for the Glenn Miller Twinwood Festival and we stayed at Dolly which was an easy drive in our 1937 MG TA which we were able to securely park off road over night. Dolly is a lovely little cottage, fully equipped and modern but still characterful. The check in and out were easy and the hosts provided lots of information in advance and at the cottage. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was lovely and warm. We enjoyed our stay.
