The vista from the front of the self-catering hut offers breath taking countryside views as far as the eye can see. From the back window, you remember that you are situated in a very special garden belonging to an 18th century church. Wild Thyme Cabin at Stamford Meadows Glamping with its own hot tub is perfect for all seasons, 17x12 feet. It is fully heated. Cosy duvet, crisp linen, towels, table and throws are all provided. Within the cabin there is a fridge, toaster and kettle, and next to the cabin there is a covered kitchen area with a gas BBQ, stove, pizza stone and sink with drinking water. There is Wi-Fi, books and games. You have a private eco loo next to the cabin and a private luxury bathroom about 25m away.

It has a private balcony overlooking the River Cam where you can observe rowers, swans and herons gliding by. It is a 20-25 minute stroll along the river towpath into the historic centre of Cambridge or a ten minute bike ride. A Tesco local is 2 mins away, pizza pub and coffee bar and post office. Friendly Labradors roam freely.

Curl up under a cosy throw on the super comfortable double bed (400 thread count sheets), or choose from seating areas inside, on the deck overlooking the lake, or by the fire pit with its inbuilt barbecue. Browse the internet using our fast broadband. Your own luxury shower room and toilet is a short walk away. As well as Greylag we have another cabin, Mallard (also on Airbnb).
