Beyond the back garden there is the Salt Haven Brook with peaceful countryside views and only bird chatter to sometimes disturb you! A minute walk away & you are on Pevensey Bay’s lovely shingle beach and a 5-10 min walk will take you to all the shops, cafés & restaurants with the welcoming Castle Inn Pub and beach Aqua Bar too.

The cottage is a pretty, romantic, Georgian terrace cottage in a historic village with a castle. There is a hot tub too! Within walking distance of open fields and the sea. Beaches are 2 mins drive and 15 minutes walk through open fields. Perfect for a holiday or retreat. The village has two pub restaurants and children's playground. Parking is in the church lane at the back of the house. The bedroom is stylish with a double bed, suitable for a couple. Not suitable for children.

There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Our bungalow has everything you could possibly need for a cosy stay at the beach. It has a fabulous location, literally a minute walk to the beach and only a few minutes walk to the village. The village is idyllic with various bakers, cafés & pubs, along with a mini supermarket, fish and chip shop, Indian Restaurant and gift shop. Not forgetting the Aqua Beach Bar too which is right on the beach. The beach itself is clean and quiet - even in peak season.

We hired this place for our nieces who were coming to our wedding ceremony nearby. It was perfect and great value. Can't thank Jenny enough. I hope my nieces left it clean and tidy and all in order (as they used it to make our wedding cake and do our catering). These few days have been about making memories as our mum is terminally ill, Pevensey will stay in our hearts forever.

We loved our stay in the shepherds hut, which offered both creature comforts and a feeling of being close to nature. The swimming lake is amazing and we made good use of it. The woodland walk with magic ponds was very peaceful and we enjoyed meeting the alpacas, sheep and adorable pony. Emma was a very attentive host and replied promptly to any queries we had. (We enjoyed chatting to your lovely Mum as well.) Thank you for the delicious bottle of wine. We would definitely like to return in the future!

We had a lovely stay recently- perfect for families and the kids had so much fun in the garden area and on the beach. The rain was shame bit the window panel and locataion meant even a rainy day was made beautiful! Great local suggestions and easy to get into town in a 10 min drive. We would come again!
