Holiday houses in Pézilla-de-Conflent

We had a lovely couple of days stay at the Chateau which is an amazing space. Thierry met us with a welcome Aperitif whilst he explained all the facilities. He was very responsive and helpful during our stay and we couldn't have been made more welcome. The space itself is enormous and very well equipped. The beds were really comfortable and the place was really peaceful. The apartment is on the top floor so would be difficult for people with mobility isuues or for young children. The gardens were lovely and peaceful and the pool was great and the place felt really secure and safe. The apartment it a 15 to 20 minute easy walk into the centre of Perpignan and there is a local supermarket close by as well as a large Super U less than 10 minutes walk away with lots of choice. Although we didn't drive there was plenty of parking available. We also couldn't heap enough praise on Thierry. He was passionate about the Chateau, so helpful and responsive and lovely.

Rafa is hands-down one of the best posts I have experienced. His gracious hospitality was superb – demonstrated in remarkable attention to detail throughout the home, care to ensure everything was perfectly set for a smooth and restful welcome, and proactive local tips to make sure I had what I needed. RAFA was also exceptionally responsive and gave many local recommendations throughout my stay – even setting up some beautiful experiences on my behalf. His home is a unique mountain respite – perfectly demonstrated by the photographs and lovely in every way. Very grateful for the week I spent at LaRocca. 🙏🏽

Great house, fabulous location. Yes you should drive slowly and it takes 20 minutes but for us that was ok. It's worth the splendid view and secluded location. Kitchen is very well equipped. There are a lot of games and lots of information about things to do in the area, including hiking maps. The house was clean and the hosts were very friendly and fast in communication. Loved the neigbour cats as well. We would definitely recommend this house!

Very nice and extremely clean accommodation. The terrace with lake view is particularly pleasant. Corinne is very welcoming and gives good advice. I recommend it without reservation!

Alexandra and Jean-Noël are particularly friendly and welcoming hosts. The studio they offer for rent is a bucolic marvel. The view is splendid, the interior cozy and the setting with the nearby walks and the animals that inhabit the place is incredible. A big thank you to our hosts for the care given to our comfort by their availability while respecting our privacy, their recommendations for activities and their availability. We recommend Alexandra and Jean-Noël's accommodation to anyone who wants to enjoy a break in nature and calm in this beautiful region.

A magical place to disconnect where only birds chirping and river noise can be heard... The cottages allow you to be at home in complete privacy. The environment is very beautiful and many hikes are to be done nearby. Finally, the cherry on the cake: Kate's welcome, kindness, and smile really make the difference! Eugenie and Francois are most charming hosts, very friendly, thoughtful and generous. When we arrived, there was a welcome package plus a large basket full of oranges and lemons from their garden. Eugenie thought of all the details for toiletries in both bathrooms. The place is exactly as the photos shown, the garden is very pristine and must be wonderful in the Summer, unfortunately we could not enjoy it due to a severe storm hitting Spain and France in March. The 2 dogs are adorable. Thuir just a few kms away is a lovely older small town.

The reception by Alain and Nathalie upon our arrival in Calmeille and the introduction to our "new home" was very reliable and committed. During our stay, we got to know them as extremely helpful, warm, generous and also discreet people. The house is really beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished. We felt very comfortable there right away. It is perfectly equipped with everything that belongs to a successful stay, but without appearing overloaded. It is one of the top three of the many Airbnb accommodations we have visited. We enjoyed the hikes recommended by Alain in the immediate vicinity of the house. Simply brilliant, these pure nature experiences! We highly recommend the accommodation to all who love peace and quiet in nature.
