House holiday rentals in Pine Knoll Shores

We loved our stay at Deanna’s place! The house was great inside and out; we especially enjoyed the porches and backyard. The location is fantastic - being so close to the beach and being able to walk or bike to restaurants (we even biked to the grocery store) was fantastic. The kitchen was well-appointed and we cooked several meals in, which was much easier with the kids. We didn’t need but noticed baby gates and high chairs, things that still catch my eye after years of traveling when our kids were a bit younger. The kids loved the “secret reading room” downstairs about as much as they enjoyed playing in the game room. My folks joined us, and the 7 of us had plenty of space for socializing and enough privacy as needed. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Tammi was a fabulous host! Easy to talk to and quick response. Just loved this bungalow! Would recommend to friends. Easy to walk to several restaurants and shops. Of course the beach!!!

Fantastic vacation rental! Perfect location that is walkable to the beach and great bars / restaurants. Steve was super helpful and quick to respond. Only note is that the “small double bed” is more like the size of a single. The space can more accurately hold 8 (if one is on the couch).

A beautiful house for our family to enjoy together. Being on the water and having a private pier/dock was so wonderful! Garet was very friendly and responded quickly when we needed to reach out to him throughout the stay! The only thing I would make sure to be aware of is that there are stairs throughout the house. I saw stairs in the photos, but in case you have someone staying who has mobility issues, keep in mind that there are at least 2-3 stairs that you must go up/down to get to any bedroom and the living room area. Wasn’t a huge issue while we were there, but I can see how it could be. All in all, we had a wonderful experience & would definitely recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

We (myself and 7 family members) stayed at Matthew’s for a wedding. The place slept the 8 of us comfortably and was gorgeous. We had a fantastic time and will be in contact again in the future!

From day one our host was so easy to get a hold of for any of our needs. Of course there were a few hiccups, nothing that was fault of the host, but they were always taken care of immediately! That was my favorite thing about this home was the host being so reachable and helpful. The pool was amazing and we could barely make it to the beach because my kids wanted to live in the pool. The home was very clean and in a very nice safe subdivision. There are several grocery stores, a gift shop, and a golf course within walking distance. The beach was also walkable. There are a lot of steps to walk up to get to the beach, but once you get there and see the uncrowded beach section you will be at it will be all worth it. We are all very sad to leave.

We have rented many vacation homes over the years. This one is one of our top one or two! House was as described, clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well provisioned. The layout of the house was conducive to both socializing and privacy. And the beds were extremely comfortable.The only thing I would say to be aware of is that since Atlantic Beach has had the beach restoration completed, there is a lot more beach to walk across now than there used to be. But ultimately, this is a plus because it means there is still a beach there!

We really enjoyed staying here! It was nice being closer to the beach and the marina in Psalter Path. it was our first time on the island and even though the weather was not great we had fun. Thanks David for making sure we had some snacks and necessities in the house!

This house was very clean, the view from the back porch was awesome. The house itself was beautiful inside, clean, everything was just perfect. We plan on going back again. We would recommend this place to anybody.

We really enjoyed our stay, great location, beautiful home, everything and more that we needed for a week in the beach. Perfect for our family getaway. There was a minor hiccup with the cleaning service when we arrived but Michael went above and beyond to get the situation rectified right away! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s AirBnb. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and family/kid friendly (gates at stairways, small kids table in kitchen, some toys, etc.). It is a very short and easy walk to the private beach. The location is also a short drive to Fort Macon (5 min), the Atlantic Beach Town Park (<10 min), and beach stores and restaurants. Michael is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home and would definitely look into staying there again!

This was a very nice home with easy access to the beach. Several local Spots to eat close by as well. The home was super clean with comfortable beds and good linens. Preston was very responsive to my messages and flexible. I would highly recommend his home.

This was the 1st time staying @ Emerald Isle & Dan’s location was perfect. Quiet family oriented beach location. The house is well equipped with all you need for a day at the beach. Very clean with an adorable bunk room that the adults were envious of it! Comfortable beds & plenty places to sit in & out. Kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs.

We loved this place!!! So cute and exactly as described. Very convenient to everything. The best part was the owners being next door and we feel we have friends for life. Very informative. Would and will definitely stay there again. Steve and Debbi Pegram

Such a fantastic place, right on the beach! They have everything you need, including wake boards, chairs, umbrella. Just a beautiful place on the ocean!!! My second time back, and I'll go a third!!

My wife, son, daughter, granddaughter, her guide dog and I stayed at Natalie and John’s lovely condo at Atlantic Beach, NC to celebrate our GD’s graduation from High School in Chicago. It was a 5 star stay. First of all, the house is mere steps from the beach. Plus, it’s only an across-the-intercoastal waterway drive to Morehead City and Beaufort if you’re looking for stuff not available in Atlantic Beach. Our GD really wanted to see wild ponies on islands in the area. So son, daughter and GD spent one day trekking the sands of Shakleford Banks (while we hosted the pup at the house) and another day with us on the island nature preserve in the harbor adjacent to Beaufort (where we could bring the pup). Lots of horses to be seen. In between horse visits we spent a lot of time sunning, swimming and walking the beach. It rained the day we checked out so we visited the NC aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores, a town next door. Hint: go early, as this place fills up fast, esp. when it rains.

The most perfect, charming, coastal cottage! The beds, the decor, the location, the cleanliness, and the entire place exceeded my expectations. I will be back!!

Great beach house! Our family celebrated 2 graduations by spending a week on the beach. The house was perfect location on an outstanding beach/area. The kitchen was well outfitted to enable family meals, the rooms and bathrooms were great to let us rest up/get ready for the next day of events, and the kitchen table allowed our fun family games. The house had beach chairs and umbrella available for us…and direct access to the beach! Lots of space for our group of 7 and easily could have supported more comfortably.

Excellent vacation rental! It was just right for our trip with another couple. We had plenty of space, the furnishings were comfortable and in great shape. The setting was peaceful. We enjoyed the deck for breakfast and lunch as well as the sunrise and sunset over the sound. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The house was exactly as pictured & Beata was so friendly & easy to communicate with. The house was very clean (by far the most clean pet-friendly home we have stayed in). You would have no idea it was pet friendly if you were traveling without four legged children. We can’t wait to return next year!

We had a great stay! Favorite part by far was the easy access to the beach and the chairs, umbrellas, and wagon at the house ready to be used.

This lovely home has been recently renovated so everything was fresh and new. While the decor is typically coastal (given its proximity to the beach) it was not overdone. It felt uncluttered and welcoming. Kitchen equipment was a little sparse but the baths were generously stocked with towels and soaps and such. We will be back.
