A cozy homestead house built in 1950 with all of the modern upgrades. A small space packing lots of style! Queen and fold out beds downstairs and a queen size pullout in the living room, this home will sleep 5 adults or a family of 6. A full kitchen and washer/dryer to keep things clean. This cabin is centrally located in Fairbanks and two blocks from main bus lines and 2 miles from University of Alaska and rail depot. Great for a family to settle in while exploring the great interior!

A Private City, Cabin-feel Studio for 1 Person

This studio-for only one person. Is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood in the city where Northern Lights can be seen during the months we get darkness. We do recommend researching northern lights strength ahead of time. There are 2 grocery stores, a clothing store, several eating establishments, banks, an outdoor mini mall, a used clothing store , a U-haul rental store, and a bike path. The bus stop is a 15 minute walk away. The airport is a quick 10 minutes drive away.

Only 5 minutes from the airport or train depot, this place is the perfect retreat after a long travel day or staying up all night catching the Aurora. Tucked away in a beautiful forest of birch and spruce, our Hytte offers a thoughtful space to rest and explore. The furnishings have been thoughtfully curated to be minimalist, warm and peaceful. Many items are vintage or made by us. We have purposefully chosen amenities that are low waste and environmentally conscious. As a welcome to our guests, we provide fresh eggs from our flock of chickens, homemade granola, milk, fresh fruit, coffee and tea!

Northern Lights views from bed!

We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as place for our parents to stay in the summer. In the winter, it's yours! It's an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler. At night, watch the Aurora from bed or the large north-facing windows. The large couch is a comfortable place to watch the low winter sun traverse the mountains to the south during the day.
