The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. Iris’ place was a fabulous base for our stay. We have friends in Hitchin and they commented on what a nice area it was and how immaculate the flat was. Iris was incredibly responsive - we had to wait only minutes at most for responses if we hit a glitch. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a base that’s a little out of the chaos of London, with green fields for a break, you should consider Iris’ place.

The space is compact but pleasant and well equipped, with everything you need- fitted 4 of us comfortably. Lucía was friendly and welcoming - the best combination of relaxing privacy and personal hospitality. Easy to find by car, and short walk to the train station. Thank you!

We were looking for a location close to Hitchin in order to visit family. This smart, neat, comfortable and well laid out and welcoming flat more than met our needs. We were visiting by local train on this occasion and so had no need of parking facilities, however Julie kindly allowed our son to use this facility to park when he dropped us off or collected us, over our weekend stay. We have stayed in Hitchin quite a few times previously and the flat is within walking distance to the town centre and Hitchin's local amenities and shopping. The tea, coffee and milk were very much appreciated too on our arrival and thank you Julie for your helpful and clear instructions. and your swift contact. A lovely flat which added to a nice weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The studio is in an idyllic location in the quiet countrywide with a lovely village pub within a couple of minutes walk. It was well equipped and the bed was very comfy. We loved having fresh eggs for breakfast on the patio over looking the chickens and alpacas! Really easy to get into Hitchin and would definitely come back in the future.

We were travelling for a few days in Norwich and Cambridge areas. Stayed in Sally's, as very convenient to Luton airport for our flight home. Sally's place was in a private, peaceful area with a very convenient parking spot for our hired car. The accommodation was excellent, had everything we needed for our stay. It was spotlessly clean, had an amazing shower room, comfortable bed and Sally had very kindly left cereals, milk, bread, butter, jam along with tea/coffee for the breakfast. We arrived during a bit of a heatwave and luxury of luxuries, there was air conditioning!! Outside the front door there was a lovely little seating area with the most gorgeous flowers all around. I would 100% recommend this accommodation and Sally was a great host!!

I needed a few days of peace & quiet, Sush's place was perfect - in countryside but 5 mins from town centre on my bike. Was given some fresh eggs from their chickens, a pint of milk in the fridge, spotless bathroom & comfy bed. Lovely to sit outside and read at the garden table. Great hosts, great place, great price.
