Family-friendly holiday rentals in Piskopiano

We had a great time in this villa, well-equipped, in a very pretty village, we could easily enjoy the shade or the sun in the patio and the different terraces, the jacuzzi was also very nice! Hosts are extremely responsive and ensure the stay is perfect! We recommend it! For information: the villa is in the mountains in a small village without restaurants, perfect for complete immersion but car necessary and about 20 min of possible activities.

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

The house is beautiful (just like the photos) and the pool is awesome — it’s heated just enough to make it enjoyable all day. The space was perfect for my party of 12, plenty of space for everyone. What really makes this place stand out is Celine, who meets guests on arrival. We had a health emergency when we arrived, and Celine was just incredible — driving us to a clinic, helping us get care at the hospital when we had to go there, checking in with us about our child’s health everyday. We are eternally grateful for her!

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

We had a great week of family at the Promachon Villa. The villa is very big and specious, highky maintained very well eqipped. Stella and her husband were really great hosts. They responded very fast to any request we had. The swimming pool is rather big and lovely. The house is located on an isolayed and quiet area 10-12 minutes drive from the city center. On behalf of all 13 members of the Zakay family I would like to thank you Stella for giving us such an incredible family vacation. We would really love to come back again. Ef christo Stella!🙂

Beautiful appartment with lots of space both inside and outside. Great for a big family with a little older kids. Large supermarket just nearby. The huge pagio is fantastic!

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

Fotini’s house is wonderful, feels like home, plenty of space inside and outside, a lots of authentic Greek decorations. The yard is beautiful too. Fotini let us pick fruits from the fruit trees. They taste great, much better than those in stores. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

This might be the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It almost felt like a shame to leave it to visit the beaches and restaurants that Manos and Sofi had recommended. There were just two of us but the house would be greatly suited to bigger groups. I would love to return again one day.

We just loved everything about this airbnb!!!!! The house was AMAZING, incredible views, incredible features, we went to the pool, did barbecue, breakast with ocean view, everything and more we expected! Konstations is THE BEST host we ever got!! Not only he was hiper reactive, attentious ( he made sure to got us on the airport so we arrive well, his mom cooked us food because they would imagine we would arrive late and hungry), incredibly generous and nice!! We have many tips and support during the full trip ! Everything and more that we expected! Thank you again

Our family spent a wonderful 14 days in Manolis’ house at the end of October. We fully recommend this place if you’re traveling with kids! Our twins spent nearly all their time outdoors, feeding the friendly cats, collecting stones, and playing in the treehouse – they were absolutely delighted. The house is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a large family (we were 5 adults and 2 kids) and is beautifully furnished with a stylish and cozy feel. The outdoor area is perfect for children to explore and play safely, and the quiet surroundings made for a relaxing retreat. Manolis and his family were excellent hosts, providing everything we needed to feel at home and ensuring our stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a family-friendly destination with plenty of charm and warmth, this is the ideal spot. We would love to come back!

We felt very good in this environment, beautiful and very peaceful and very quiet. Really very good and it's really what we were looking for. On site there is a restaurant, with of course, Cretan specialties, there is a beautiful swimming pool, and plenty of walking. The sea is 20 km away. It takes a little time to get there because the road has a lot of turns, but we cross beautiful landscapes with olive fields as far as the eye can see The accommodation is very refined and the decoration is beautiful. In short, we spent five really, really, really pleasant days.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was even better than the pictures—spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make our trip special. They were incredibly attentive, offering fantastic local recommendations and even arranging a taxi service for us, which made everything so easy. To top it all off, they surprised us with homemade traditional Easter cookies, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. We felt so welcomed and cared for the entire time. Highly, highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

Classy Villa, hosted by Emmanuel and Yannis is a bountiful house. The ground floor bedrooms and bathroom and beautifully appointed and easy access. The second floor kitchen and sitting area are equally lovely and calm the kitchen spills on to the terrace. The pool ans gardens are lovely and perfect for kids as it’s enclosed and the pool Shallow. A very lovely home perfect for kids as the road is quiet. The village centre has great restaurants at good prices. Well worth the easy stroll.

My family had the best time at Alexanderos place. I am a remote worker and so was the perfect quiet environment to work while watching my daughter have a great time in the pool. the house is spotlessly clean, as is the pool and Alexanderos really cares that you are having a good experience. You can tell this buisness means a lot to him. A little ginger and white cat came to visit us every day for 10 min. My daughter is cat crazy and so that little guy made her holiday. If you see him give him a snack 🥰 You need a car to stay here really, but that is part of the beauty of the villa. You're remote, quiet and private. Exactly what we wanted. However if you want to go out, youre 10-15 min drive from some great beach restaurants. I suppose, if you're happy to stay in and relax, you could manage not having a car but we like to get out and about. Overall an absolute excellent place and im so glad we chose Alexanderos' place over other options!

We felt comfortable with Giorgos and Evi right from the start. Despite the delay of our flight, the two of them were there late at night and calmly explained everything to us. The tiny house was very clean, functional and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed ending the day on the atmospheric terrace or cooling off in the pool in between. Our landlords were always there for us and even brought us local desserts once. We can warmly recommend the place to anyone looking for a place to stay near Heraklion.
