Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Piskopiano

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

From the very start Georgia was an excellent host; making sure we were greeted on arrival and providing us with extensive advice on activities and food for the local Heraklion area. The place itself was so charming and has obviously had lots of thought and time gone into it. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely stone cottage, up a steep narrow road with easy parking. We explored the area by car traveling to both coasts and the plains of Lasithi. The cottage is cosy and well equipped with the bonus of organic veg, bread and oils and eggs honey and jam.

We spent wonderful and relaxing holidays in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully furnished, with high-quality furniture and it really lacks nothing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also organized the transfer from the airport and it worked out perfectly. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will gladly think back to the time and come back soon.

Huge thanks to my hosts Nikoleta and Alexis! I loved staying at their gorgeous "landscape" apartment -- the photos don't do it justice! It's super peaceful and serene, with lovely views and landscaping and Alexis' art, plus some adorable visiting cats and a wonderful shady secluded area to sit outside. I arrived rather late (c 8 pm) but Nikoleta had been very proactively communicative and ensured I had perfect directions to the place. She was waiting there when I arrived and not only welcomed me warmly but also went far above and beyond, even offering me a bite to eat which Alexis kindly and deliciously prepared. They thought of everything and left so much food and so many supplies for me, even full breakfast supplies, very effective mosquito repellant and all toiletries/linens/etc. I fell in love with the place and the vibe, and especially appreciated being able to walk in less than five minutes down to the Knossos site when it opened at 8. Ten stars, I hope to stay again for longer!

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

very nice clean modern apartment equipped with everything, air conditioning, equipped kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed, only flaw is the lack of a dishwasher. around the house there were several cats and also 4 adorable dogs that live in that area, but don't be afraid they are very sweet and harmless, we fed them throughout our stay and they always made us happy, if you can please do the same, in Crete there is no real concept of pets and even less of stray dogs abandoned to themselves, a small gesture can make a difference, thank you very much.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Perfect location, pristine clean, and very well furnished. Responsive and friendly host too. If I visit Crete again, I'm going to try and stay here.

Irina and Fanouris are very nice people. Communication was frequent and informative from the moment I booked. The apartment is perfect. There is a large sitting room/kitchenette with two balconies; a bedroom with plenty of storage and a balcony; a lovely bathroom with a balcony. There is a lovely shower and plenty of hot water. Toiletries are provided and towels. There is air conditioning in both the sitting room and bedroom. The location is excellent. It’s only a 5/10 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and seaside, but is still quiet for a good night’s sleep. The hosts have a small supermarket on the ground floor and there is a large supermarket across the street. The bus stop is directly opposite the apartment. All in all this is an excellent place to stay.

My boyfriend and I spent five nights here for my 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The photos on here do not do the place justice and the local area is just the right amount of quiet busy also with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We didn’t get a hire car as we managed with the local buses as they are so much cheaper and we were able to get to beaches such as Saridari and Paralia Psaromoura, which we would recommend. We also would highly recommend a boat tour to Dia island if you are able too. Restaurant wise in Gournes we cannot recommend Nami Restaurant enough and it is a must! The beach opposite is a lovely shallow beach but we aware it can be quite windy hence why we explored other beaches - would advise if u go to these beaches you leave early (especially if u want a sun lounger)! We had a really very nice time at the place. You have everything nearby and yet you have your peace. In addition, Domenico is really an excellent host and takes care of everything you need. We will be happy to come back!

We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect, with tons of walkable restaurants and bars nearby. There was so much going on in the area, and the lively atmosphere made it really fun to explore. One of our favorite parts was the hot tub on the balcony. It was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The homemade wine was a really nice touch and absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back.

Super nice bright and well decorated apartment. We felt at home. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Eva was there to greet us and explain about the apartment. There was free bread and various delicacies in the fridge. Quick, friendly, and welcoming communication with Eva. We can highly recommend the apartment.

Very nice, matching description. Since it is so close to Hersonissou I thought it might be noisy, but it was peaceful. Nice and clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning, kitchenette, table and balcony. I would recommend the studio!

We had an exceptional stay at Tasos. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos, with a breathtaking view of the sea that literally takes your breath away. The private jacuzzi is a real plus, offering incomparable moments of relaxation. The apartment is perfectly equipped, everything is thought of for your comfort. In addition, you are less than a 10-minute walk from Agia Beach and the best restaurants in the area, ideal for enjoying the area. Tasos is a very attentive and responsive host, who does everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. You can book without so much so so, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Don't forget to feed the little cat of the residence, he is absolutely adorable. 😉

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again
