Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. The "Kitchen" includes coffeemakers, fridge, microwave, toaster oven and a 2 burner hot plate with all necessities to cook (there is no standard oven or kitchen sink - if needed we will pick up your dishes and clean them for you!). Fresh linens and towels are provided. The cabin dates back to the 1800's and was recently restored.

This charming rustic cabin is located at Hat Creek Camp, a 350+ acre camp with over 7 miles of hiking trails and two lakes. The cabin has three rooms, a bedroom, bathroom, and common space/kitchen. The kitchen includes a stove, fridge, blender, coffee maker, and microwave. The bedroom has a Queen bed, and the bathroom has a spacious shower. This cabin is small but very personable, around the camp it is affectionately known as The Pickle. Perfect for quiet getaways in the country.
