Loved Shelley’s place, totally recommended, safe, clean, owner was very responsive. There are lots of restaurants near by, had a blast walking on the beach, which is very close, could walk if wanted to. It was our daughter Bday, we asked Natasha to leave a Bday card and she did..As they say here in CR, Pura Vida!!!

The stay was just great. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time. We especially enjoyed the pool and it was a great refreshment after the long and warm days. Desire was available at all times and very helpful. Best regards, Laura & Martin

Stuart’s place was an ideal location for a private and peaceful getaway. The property itself had great amenities - especially the pool and the surrounding landscape. It was centrally located to bars, restaurants and beaches in Uvita and two neighboring towns - but far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the jungle. Stuart was a great host. His place definitely made our vacation!

As a family of 4 with 2 little ones (5 and 2) it was a perfect place to stay. The house feels very homey, and I loved the setup, perfect for a beach holiday house! It's close to Marino Ballena (beautiful beach), the supermarket and easy to travel and visit around.

Clara was a wonderful host - so kind and thoughtful. Place was beautiful, in serene nature with river access. Couldn't ask for anything more, it was perfect! I would go back in a heartbeat. The access to the river was amazing, the place was stunning, would recommend anyone looking for a tranquil getaway. It was well-stocked and also very large. Airconditioning was installed half-way through my visit, which was wonderful in the heat. Thanks Clara! Note for fellow digital nomads: This area occasionally experiences short power outages, usually due to weather. I’d recommend having an internet backup plan just in case—an eSIM with data worked really well for me (I used Airalo). While coverage can vary along this road, this particular Airbnb had excellent Wi-Fi (40mbps) and strong eSIM reception. With both high-speed internet and a reliable backup, it was a great spot for working online, even with higher bandwidth needs. It was the best internet experience I had in all of Costa Rica.

Absolutely amazing place! Everything was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up with an incredible view. It felt just like home—with all the appliances you could need, plus extra sheets and blankets, all organized and squeaky clean with no clutter in sight.Leandro was incredibly kind and helpful, and communication was smooth from start to finish. One of our favorite parts was the easy self-check-in, which made everything feel relaxed and comfortable.Rose, the lovely lady who takes care of the property, was so sweet and generous—she even gifted us some fresh oranges and bananas!I recommend this place 200%! Wonderful experience! The house was very nice and spacious. Lovely outdoor space, huge pool, nice outdoor dining and BBQ area, beautiful views especially during sunset time! Beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, good house for large groups. Kitchen had everything you could need. Definitely make sure to have a 4x4 car like the description suggests, the drive to house from main road is about 20 min of steep hills and dirt/gravel road. You get used to the drive after the first day. Worth it for the amazing views and privacy at the house. We were able to spot many animals around the house and enjoyed having breakfast and dinner every day with spectacular views. They have many pool floats and toys. The host was very friendly and quick to respond for anything we needed. Thanks for everything! Pura Vida

There's a whole family of monkeys that lives right around this house and it was so amazing to be able to see them everyday. The house is quite close to the road, but the road is really quiet. If you're going with other people outside of your family, there is not a lot of privacy as both the upstairs rooms are completely open to each other and the downstairs. It wasn't a problem for us with small children, but something to note. kitchen was well stocked and the views and sunsets were stunning. This is our favorite area of Costa Rica in this Laguna's neighborhood.

We were at Chamana's house for a weekend and the stay couldn't have been better, The house has all the amenities and an unbeatable location, a few steps from the beach. Naty, our host, was excellent with 5-star service, very kind and super friendly. I recommend this house without a doubt. Thank you Naty, we hope to return soon. Pura Vida!

This home in the heart of the jungle is a real little jewel!! We spent 5 nights there and loved our experience. The location is ideal, not too far from Manuel Antonio, Dominical and very close to beautiful waterfalls. The pool area is really well appointed and is a big plus. We were also able to observe 2 toucans from our balcony while having our breakfast. Melissa and Said are very available and you feel at home.

My intention was to go to rest more than a walk, although I did a little bit of everything and finally I rested with a lot of peace and tranquility. The place is good, I would come back

A really beautiful place, very quiet and full of harmony, surrounded by nature, with a great location, where you find nearby beaches, rivers, and waterfalls. The comfort and cleanliness of the almost as well as the service was 10/10, an experience I hope to live again soon. Thank you!

This stay was beyond perfect. The home was spotless, beautifully designed with high ceilings and seamless indoor-outdoor living thanks to massive sliding doors. It was stocked with everything imaginable—top-notch cookware, quality toiletries, even thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. With a child in tow, we appreciated how safe and comfortable the space was. You’re tucked into the rainforest mountains, so brief water or power outages can happen—something we expected and which was well communicated. It didn’t impact our stay in the slightest. Just be sure to have a 4x4 to access the area. Karl and Ivonka have truly created an oasis—every detail made us feel welcomed and cared for. If you’re like us and debating where to stay, trust that this one is even better than the photos. Nearby, Tagua Café is a gem, and the surrounding waterfalls and restaurants made the trip even more special. Truly unforgettable. Thank you!

This was a lovely little casa tucked back at the jungle's edge. The beds were super comfy, and the place was clean and ready to settle in. We loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs. The waterfalls are close by and easy to get to. We really enjoyed our stay.

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

We had a great 3 night stay in dominicalito. The beach is right across the street, but not the nicest beach. Easy access to dominical and uvita. The laundry was an added bonus and the pool was nice to use after a day at the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

An oasis in the jungle with a Pacific Ocean view. It doesn’t get any better!!! Serene. Surreal. Comfortable. Peaceful. What a tranquil escape! Slept incredible thanks to the perfect bedding and pillows. Ate really well thanks to the cafe on the corner! Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave!!! So we didn’t! For 48 hours straight we breathed in the salt, jungle air, admired the Pacific coast views, the variety of birds, and the gorgeous eco system that surrounded us! Go ahead and hit “reserve”! You won’t regret it!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Cristina's place. We really loved the neighborhood and the relaxed vibe of Dominicalito. It's a great beach to surf for beginners and we felt very safe the entire time we were there. The waterfall is within walking distance and a nice place to cool off with a refreshing swim. Cristina was also very responsive to our inquiries and graciously allowed us to check-out late on our departure date. Here's what I would note about this place: The downstairs is open air as is traditional for many Costa Rican homes. We knew that going in and found it to be a nice touch. The bugs were not as bad as we expected in the evening. The tap water is not potable, but there is a communal black tank about 100m from the house which contains potable water and plentiful jugs on the side of the house to use. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and involves a little route finding. But, we asked around and found a good path.

This was a lovely stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The room was clean and cozy, and the property was beautifully kept, with many interesting design details, plants, handmade concrete... In general, a ton of unique personality which you don’t see in most AirBnB’s. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, more than most. It’s a short walk down to the riverside where you have a private view of two rivers converging, and countless birds at sunrise and sunset. Definitely recommend!
