Holiday rentals with a pool in Playa Negra

This was s last minute booking and we ended up getting in late at night. Kristel was very helpful at the late hour and we had a terrific stay! It was a little difficult to find in the dark and rain but easy to find in the daytime!!

Our family (kids 3, 5, and 13) had an amazing time at Casa Neen! Eric is an excellent host and helpful with everything we needed. He has staff that is also available for things like having a private chef, laundry and cleaning if necessary. The home is comfortable and beautiful. The walk to the beach is very short and safe. We loved this particular beach because it was quiet and natural. We also enjoyed driving 10 minutes away to Playa Cocles to rent surf boards. Anywhere we wanted to go was convenient and quick to get to. Highlights of our trip was the kayak tour with Eric at Iki Tours, chocolate plantation tour with Daniel, surfing at Playa Cocles, breakfast on the beach at Iriria (get the croissants!), dinner on the beach at Beach break bar (homemade tagliatelle was delicious!), and just swimming in the pool every afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

very nice house, pleasant and quiet, comfortable rooms, clean bathroom, really hot water. As someone who is sensitive to the cold, I would have liked the pool to be a little warmer, but it's okay.

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, with large, beautifully appointed bedrooms and super comfy beds and pillows. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a highlight—sparkling clean and perfect for relaxing. The entire property is walled, which made it ideal and worry-free for our small dog to roam safely. Location-wise, it’s perfect—close enough to the center for convenience, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Bonus points for the cute little convenience store just a short walk away. Highly recommend—would definitely stay again!

Excellent place, just like the pictures. We were a group of 6 people and everything met the description, unpaved street but you can access it with any type of vehicle. Communication with the host was excellent

We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it! It was so peaceful and quiet. It was really nice and clean just as described. The restroom and shower were really spacious. Everything was amazing! we even spotted some monkeys and sloths outside. Itisha was so nice and always responsive :)

Very pleasant, excellent location in the middle of the forest and beach nearby. Comfortable and modern house with easy access. We'll most likely be back!

Excellent location!

The place is super spacious, beautiful and as it appears in the photos. Where I stayed, there was nothing to cook with (pots), there was no microwave, and the kitchen was gas. But out of there, everything is fine, very quiet and you can walk to the black beach.

Good accommodation in a quiet area of Puerto Viejo, 5 minutes by car from downtown. We travel with family 4 people and stayed in one of the casitas they have with kitchen and bunk bed. Spacious and comfy stay. As shown in the photos. Cozy common area and very clean pool. The manager Giacomo was very nice and always attentive. Highly recommended.

This airbnb is exactly as the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Things to note is that only the lower bedrooms have AC. The upstairs living room was very nice! The house is private, but a lot further out from town so you’ll need transportation to and from as there are not many restaurants nearby. The host, Jorge was always very responsive and helpful. Overall we had such a great stay and can’t wait to be back.

The rooms are very big and great for groups of people. Steps from the beach, pool, tennis court, super chill people. Next door to Banana Azul beach club so you can hang there and use their services as well.
