Holiday rentals with beach access in Playa Zipolite

Excelente estancia, fue un error mío no percatarme que el aire, no era aire acondicionado, para que no les pase lo mismo, de ahí en fuera es una lindo lugar con una gran vista.

This apartment is in a beautiful location with an incredible view down to the sea. It is clean and well equipped and the air con in the bedroom is excellent! Ana went out of her way to make us feel welcome, lending us her own baby equipment to make our stay more comfortable. Fresh drinking water was provided and Maria regularly checked in that we were ok! There were a couple of small things to mention- probably more prominent for us as we had a baby with us: 1) the house is v. close to to the sea however it is very rough and we couldn’t take our baby in. It was about 1km to the nearest swimmable beach. This is absolutely not the fault of Ana however I didn’t fully appreciate this before booking so is worth noting if you are less mobile or have a baby with you! 2) insects in the kitchen- I think this comes with the territory however they got into our food and baby milk before we started storing everything in the fridge! Despite this, it was a lovely stay- thank you!

La Secreta offers a unique and special stay! An experience of coexisting close to nature and the jungle, but never felt scary or problematic. The apartment is cozy and spacious at the same time. We love the floor plan and architecture. The very large windows don’t have glass, just screens! They let in the sounds of nature, sunlight and breezes ! Indeed there is no hot water, didn’t need it, the weather was very warm! Many fans also help to circulate air. The bed; comfortable and huge. Let me add, 2 kinds of ants coexist in the apartment, very tiny ones near the kitchen sink and a few larger ones roaming here and there; importantly we were never bit ! And the screens kept the other insects out! Staff, Marisol, and fellow guests were friendly and helpful. The location is very close to the main road in the village without the noise and dust. An abundance of food options in all directions! With a lovely bakery close by, we quit bread and ate banana bread and carrot cake instead!

We booked this room after staying a few nights in a studio at Soiree, and we are really glad we did. The amenities in this room do not compare to the other room. We had a water cooler that chilled the water, two TVs, much more space and cookware. It was night and day. If you are staying longer (we were there a week), I would highly recommend getting one of the larger rooms. You won't be disappointed. Several times we enjoyed getting into the splash pool to cool off and various people would make food to sell on-site (tacos/Caribbean bowls) which was handy if you didn't want to venture out. There are several places close by to grab food: Noga, Alquimista, Bacco, Samsara, Orale, Maquil, Cosmic are all within a 5-minute walk. The fish in tomato sauce at Bacco is probably the best I've ever had! The town is nearby, as well, with many more options.

Massimo’s place was perfect for one wanting closeness to beach (4min walk), beautiful views, quiet and secure, very clean, and a closeness to everything in Mazunte! This place was the perfect home base for all of my adventures. It was very secure and felt very safe. The bed, hammock, and furniture were all very comfortable :) The host is very responsive and was a perfect experience all around. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Karla was an excellent host and communicated well with us throughout. The place is a bit outside of Zipolite, very peaceful with amazing views.

Muy buen lugar excelente ubicación. El único detalle es el estacionamiento que hay que estar moviendo los autos. Y el agua caliente. Que en realidad no es necesaria porque hace mucho calor a menos que lleves bebés como en mi caso pero se solucionó con otra alternativa. La vista del mar impresionante.

Es la primera vez que me alojo en el lugar y desde el principio el anfitrion estuvo muy al pendiente de nuestra llegada, al estar ahí la información de recepción fue muy clara y precisa el personal estuvo atento en todo momento, cuenta con varias amenidades ( kayak, mascaras para snorkel, aletas, asador, regaderas de exterior,estacionamiento) todo el lugar es muy seguro, acceso para las 3 playas y una vista paradisiaca, cuentas con opciones múltiples para comer en las playas o restaurantes en el lugares, nos la pasamos genial mi familia y yo. Simplemente no hay mejor opción para quedarte en Estacahuite y para mi y mi familia es nuestro nuevo lugar favorito para regresar cada vez que podamos. Altamente recomendable para familias y parejas sea cual sea el plan.

Gorgeous views in a beautiful house. Stayed for a week and loved every minute. Playa Estacahuite is a wonderful beach that is a short walk (or drive if you aren’t up for the steep walk back) close to other beaches as well. Highly recommend and would be lucky to stay here again. Great communication as well.

Wow! This Airbnb was amazing and well worth the stay! Spacious, beautiful and amazing views. The host was very responsive and answered any questions we had and even provided some extra items that we were not prepared with that helped make our stay even better. I would definitely recommend this place for a family or a chill group of friends. Loved it!

This was a great place for our family. Nothing fancy but very confortable. Our kids loved the pool even after full days at the beach. Air conditioning was welcome and we enjoyed all the space. Great view, could hear the waves as we relaxed at night and we enjoyed the hammocks. As well, Perla and her crew were amazing - our son got sick on the day we had to check out and Perla let us relax in another space she had and store our bags while we decided what to do- she would have let us stay if there had not been another booking. Totally recommend, and we will be back!

We were a group of 6 friends who stayed here for a few nights, and our only regret is that we didn’t book for longer. The place is truly incredible: comfortable, spacious, stylish, and unique, all while being quiet and just a short walk from the beach. Amalia is the kindest and most amazing. She made us feel completely at home with her warmth and hospitality, and her support was truly special. On top of that, she’s an incredible cook, preparing any meal we wanted with the freshest ingredients, including a mix of traditional Mexican food, fish and even a barbecue night. Jerome was a fantastic host. Super hands-on and always ready with excellent recommendations for beaches and activities, making sure we got the best experience possible. A huge thank you to Jerome and Amalia.

This is a unique life experience. Stop deliberating and book the place! As others have mentioned it is even cooler in person; the architectural details never end from the pass through views an unique portals to the minute details like the floating shelf off the back of the bed with hidden outlet to charge your device to the perfectly aligned infinity pool. If you geek out on features check out the scribed cut outs for the trash cans. Mario and the whole crew make planning your whole vacation seamless from walkable caught and cooked fish delivered on platters to your table to easily booked excursions (we opted for a private 7 bays tour and snorkeling for our kids). We would return in a heartbeat. The one caveat? The bugs come out at night and this is a natural world experience so don’t expect to be sealed off from the bugs and surf sounds. The mosquito nets and screens worked exceptionally well, but if you are chilling for the sunset the bugs will join. For us, this was no issue.

Billy's home is absolutely beautiful. It was tricky to find, and I was very grateful to Gonzalo who came to find us when we got lost in the roads with no service. One thing about this area (including the top of the hill) is that there is truly no 3G or LTE on our phones, which feels scary in case someone hurts themselves or there is any kind of emergency. Luckily we found the hotel on the bottom of the cliff who let us use their Wifi. I would add an emergency landline phone to the house or at least a First Aid Kit.

Lindo lugar! El carro fue indispensable para ir a la playa pues no había otra alternativa pero muy rápido y fácil! Casa muy hermosa, con el apoyo increíble de Jorge.

Tony’s apartment was as described & in a quiet/peaceful part of the area (walking distance to the beach/restaurants)😊! The steep hill up to the apartment is no joke🤣 & our initial taxi driver refused to take us up there, but we still managed despite having a baby + 3 suitcases + stroller. If you have physical ailments, the hill might be a deterrence for some. The A/C in both bedrooms worked perfectly to combat the April heat. Similar to other places in Mexico, there is a warning NOT to throw toilet paper in the toilet. We were careless and did just that and clogged the toilet instantly😩. Tony’s team was super quick to respond and fixed our issue the next morning. Cold water shower only, but it’s really not an issue in April as it’s sooo hot outside! Mazunte is a 15min walk from the apartment too. At night we often saw ants inside, but you’re nestled amongst nature so it’s to be expected. Thank you for having us, we had a great visit! ❤️

Wade’s place was beautiful! Two big bedrooms with two full baths. It’s perfect for two couples or even a family. There are lots of towels, sheets, and a fairly stocked kitchen. And then there’s the view… totally spectacular! We even saw a whale or two. Also, the condo staff is so friendly and helpful! Thank you to Louis and Javier! We will miss your beautiful smiles! We had a fabulous two-week stay. We will also miss sitting on the balcony to watch the sun go down and listening to the sound of the waves to put us to sleep. Totally peaceful! Casa Hopla is an excellent choice for a family vacation. The well-planned and designed top floor of this private house is located in a safe neighborhood. It features two private rooms, two bathrooms, and an outdoor kitchen and living room, which is a brilliant design for the hot Mazunte climate. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We had a rental car, and driving on the steep hill was easy. The closest beach is a 5-minute walk, and the best beach in Mazunte is only a 20-minute walk. However, the walk on the hill might be challenging for some people. We stayed during the dry season, and insects were not a significant issue. There are many excellent places to eat nearby. I highly recommend Kombucheria for a refreshing afternoon drink, a perfect alternative to beer in the heat. The yoga center and ice bath are also must-try experiences.
