In the kitchenette, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee press cutlery, etc.). Showers with an adjacent beach sauna. A composting tree. The sauna is wood-burning. If necessary, we will guide you to the sauna heating. Used in summer and early fall.

hand built round log traditional lapland cabin, located on the edge of lake kinisjarvi near lohiniva, half way between rovaniemi and levi. beautifully simple and with everything you need, one of us must meet you on the other side of the lake when you arrive and take you to cabin on snow mobile or by boat (depending on time of year). we have a hand built separate sauna and a wood fired hot tub on site, (hot tub charges apply) plus lake side fire pit and of course log fire in cabin.

A log cabin ambiance on the banks of the River Kitisenjoki, just 2 km from the center of Sodankylä. Bedrooms for five. A log sauna with a wood stove and a redesigned terrace with open flames for barbecue. In front of the sauna, a new pier with access to the river to freshen up. There's also a chance to rent various kayaks, canoes, and sup boards at a low cost. We also organize guided paddles, as well as guidance to the beginnings of kayaking.
