It was a great place to stay, very comfortable. I would like to get back in late spring or summer, the walk to the beach would be awesome.

Water View Cozy Space

ValRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Perfect for MI Thumb adventures - great location, excellent communication and recommendations in the app and print out at the Cozy Blue Barn. Bonus treat of Christine's sourdough English muffins and real butter - yum! Loft is spacious, comfortable and decorated nicely. Bed was soft and pillowy, slept very well. Good water pressure and nice, hot water. Thoughtful touches like available fan, humidifier/dehumidifier, water filter jug in fridge, tons of coffee options. Felt at home right away and Christine was quick to answer any questions. Close to MI state parks, county parks, nature preserves and centers. M-25 is easy to get around on and country roads provide pretty views. Made a trip to Bay Port for smoked whitefish - delicious! Grindstone General Store was a fun stop for ice cream on my way north. Gorgeous view of the night sky from the loft on a cloudless night and there's also a Dark sky preserve at Port Crescent State Park. Hope to return to the Cozy Blue Barn again - thank you!

Cozy cottage with natural fire place!

WayneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Maria’s cozy cottage was a perfect place to stay. This cozy little gem has everything you need to kick back and relax or go out hiking, kayaking or swimming at the pristine sandy beach. Located a stone’s throw away from Port Crescent State Park (Dark Sky Park) and Tip of the Thumb kayak/canoe rental, makes Maria’s cabin THE PERFECT place to stay for family or couples. The cabin seems very private even though there are neighbors on both sides. The back yard is like a private park setting with a nice fire pit, horse shoe pits and nature! I love this place and hope to stay here again.

Lakefront fully-renovated cottage getaway

MikaylaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was very beautiful and relaxing. Everything was super clean and felt homey. Communication was great, and this was perfect for me and my partner. Right on the lake and absolutely stunning. Only thing I would note is that with warm weather and it being on the lake there are a lot of flying bugs (but that's to be expected). It is a bit pricey, but I would highly recommend this for your next stay up north!

Lakefront Beach House: Serene Getaway

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Great Beach House! My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The surroundings are beautiful. We watched the sunrise over the lake every morning and enjoyed the patio and fire pit each evening. We enjoyed the early morning wildlife-bald eagle, deer in the lake, a multitude of different birds, and enjoyed watching and looking up thw freighters as they passed. The lake was supeisingly warm even when thw temperature outside was only in the 60's. Definitely bring water shoes! Port Austin was a short drive North where they hold an amazing Farmer's market on Saturday.
