Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Polk County

Loved the house and the area. Bryan and Erica were very friendly and helpful.

My family and I always try to stay here because Justin’s place is so nice. We have stayed multiple times here to see our family in the area. The back porch is so nice to sit out and congregate with a fire. Very nice setting and surroundings.

Such a great place! Loved all of the great places to hang outside! Being right off the river was awesome!

It is a quiet place, and away from the craziness of the day to day. We stayed here so we could go white water kayaking in the Ocoee and even got to visit the Hiwassee. It was a nice trip, and the environment at this place was perfect. I loved the kitchen and all the provided stuff that you could use. We arrived and noticed the deck immediately which is why we wanted to stay here, out of the other listed places. My son was out fishing from the deck every single morning, and would do some night fishing too. We caught a catfish, some bass, and some bluegill right off the deck! Inside the house was a binder that had some details about the place. There was a section in the back that allowed you to share via pen or pencil, about your stay. I was so excited to journal some, but there wasn’t any extra papers. I loved reading about other peoples fun experiences.

This was a lovely home and we all felt very comfortable. The bathrooms were updated and had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. While the living room wasn’t huge it was perfect for our group and we enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen/living room space.

Looking online, it's always hard to be sure if what we are booking looks as good as the pictures. In this case, the house was even better. Nothing could be improved upon. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable and the setting would be hard to beat. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a gourmet meal. The house is larger than I expected and we all had plenty of room to relax. I cannot recommend staying with Douglas and Carol enough. If you are considering staying in the Delano/Benton area, the Hiwassee Riverside Retreat needs to be at the top of your list.

The Hangout is amazing! Lots to do if you stay there AND lots to do in the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend to anyone. We booked another weekend while we were still there! The pool is wonderful and the bunk house and main house were comfortable with all of the amenities you need. The bunk house transported us back to summer camp in all of the best ways. Only book if you’re prepared to have a great time in a beautiful area!

This was an amazing stay & had everything we needed. The only bad was we couldn’t get cell service there was def wifi.

It was the perfect place for our short stay. The unit was very clean and comfortable. There are many attractions just a short drive away. Rose was very welcoming and attentive.

The apartment was very nice and cozy, and the property was absolutely enchanting. We saw so many deer right around the house. Mimi is an excellent hostess. We hope to stay again some time in the future.

Great place to stay right in the center of downtown Murphy, NC. Very clean and spacious and comfortable spaces to enjoy. The fire place made the space cozy too. Will definitely stay at again. Small town living with a posh city space.

If I could give this stay 20 stars I would! What a phenomenal experience. Michael & Hilda’s home is absolutely stunning. Their family and friends we met while being there were so welcoming and friendly. The love they all have for making sure their guest are happy, goes unnoticed. They made us feel like their place was ours. I can’t wait to come back or to another one of their beautiful properties! Thank you just isn’t enough.

Had a grwat time staying, Mary was great and very responsive to any questions. Will definitely be staying again next time I am in the area.

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The cabin was in pristine condition and clean. We felt right at home when we walked in. We got in super later and forgot to pick up coffee for the morning only to find out there was coffee left for us in the cabin. Those little added touches take the stress away and allow us to enjoy our vacation! I would highly recommend this property and will vacation here again.

We had the best time celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in Blue Ridge and Nathan's place only improved our stay. This place is so sweet!!! It sits directly in the middle of all the shops and restaurants, within walking distance to the railroad and many other attractions. You can't go wrong if you choose this place. He truly did make it perfect as an airbnb with all you need for your Blue Ridge get away!
