Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Polperro

Beautiful cottage right above the beach in Portwrinkle, with coastal path walks in either direction. Within easy reach of Plymouth via the Torpoint ferry. We had a lovely Easter break there.

Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

Really enjoyed our stay at the Slipway. Great location for walking into town and the property is very comfortable and well equipped. Nice view of the river from the property and communication with Neil very easy.

The Gig House is small, but has everything required to have a comfortable stay. It is in an ideal position to explore the area. We walked to The Lost Gardens of Heligan on the cycle track, as well as walking along the coastal paths. Mevagissey is a quaint harbour town, and the bus service is good.

Absolutely loved our stay at Dans place, anything we needed him and Gary were super responsive and helpful! Would highly recommend!

The cottage was beautiful with a lovely view. It was very clean and comfy. We enjoyed making use of the hot tub and the entertainment options were great to keep us happy for our couple of comfy evenings in.

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

Lovely spacious well appointed apartment in a beautiful historic house with stunning gardens. The games room and pool are a real bonus. Lovely village setting with shop.

We had a lovely family stay at le shack and Danny was a great host and really responsive to messages and questions The accommodation was really clean , well equipped and comfortable. The surrounding areas were beautiful and Cawsands and Kingsands were lovely for sea swimming Would definitely go again! Thank you 😀

Just want to say a massive thankyou again! We had a lovely time staying at Blue View and the flat had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped & the views are to die for!! The pool was heated so I was able to take my 4 month old son in there who loved it! Kirsten & Ben are very friendly and even had the flat ready for us a couple of hours before the usual check in time :D we will definitely be back next year! X

This was such a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful wooden lodge with plenty of space, comfortable furnishings and spectacular verandas. It’s in a beautiful mature garden setting which is idyllic in every way. Private and peaceful yet with easy access to so many walking routes, gorgeous beaches, great cafes and pubs. We only took the car out on one day, everything else we did on foot. The pool and jacuzzi were a welcome bonus too.

As a family of four, we really enjoyed our one night stay at The Pound House. Beautiful cottage in very peaceful surroundings, Jacquie gave us loads of information before we arrived about places to go, eat and also which narrow lanes to avoid. Thanks for having us!

Clair was a super responsive host. The place was amazing! And having a parking spot in front of the house was great. Beautifully laid out, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. All the plugs had USB ports in, which we found really helpful. Everything was clean and comfy. We will be booking again!

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

We had a lovely stay at Mario's. The accommodation is very comfortable and the decor is beautiful. You'll find everything you need, and then some. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and strong. The kitchen was well equipped and seemed to have everything, though we didn't cook, so I can't really say more. The welcome basket was thoughtful and generous and much appreciated. Looe itself is a pretty little town, but unfortunately it is inundated with tourists which makes it feel overcrowded during the main part of the day. It's definitely wise to book any restaurants in advance. The streets are incredibly narrow, so definitely best to park in one of the carparks at the base of the town. Having said that, once you're in, it's a very easy stroll into town and to the coastal walks, as long as you don't have any mobility issues. All in all, it's a lovely cottage and good value. We really enjoyed staying at Mark and Jo’s place, the accommodation is spacious and equipped with everything. The location is outstanding, so close to the center of Polperro yet quiet and private. above all Mark and Jo have been amazing from checkin to checkout. The welcome cream tea, as other reviewers noted, is just the icing of the cake, we really appreciated it, and became our preferred breakfast for the rest of our journey in Cornwall

Hideaway Cottage is a really lovely little place and a great location for exploring Polperro/Looe/Fowey area. The cottage is very well appointed and was spotlessly clean. Although attached to the main house, Kelly & David have ensured it is very private from entrance through to the garden and views so it feels like a detached cottage. Easy walk downhill into Polperro, bit taxing on the way back up the hill! We don't have a dog but the cottage is clearly very welcoming for dog owners, all in all we'd thoroughly recommend Hideaway and would happily have spent a few nights more there.

Morvena Cottage is simply stunning. Essentially, it is a four floor story (including the terrace). There was two of us but it would be very spacious for four. Because we had nice weather, we avoided the ground floor living room and spent our time on the terrace. What a view overlooking Polperro. A gull had nested on the neighbour’s roof and we loved keeping an eyes on the chicks. The kitchen is on the first floor and has everything you could think of. Double bed and two bathrooms on the 2nd floor. Whilst a careful drive is required through the streets to the cottage, you are steps away from everything. Shops, eateries, takeaways and pubs. We ate in The Three Pilchards - good food and portion sizes. If weather permits, ask to sit in their outside area. Well worth the climb! The Blue Peter Inn has to be one of the best pubs in England - quirky, good ales. Buses are infrequent but good to catch to Looe or Polruan. Ferries available too. We already miss Lisa’s cottage and hope to return.

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

Our stay here was amazing, the barn was cosy and really well equipped for everything you need. The location is great for a really quiet getaway with some fantastic nearby walks and nature, but equally there's some lovely places a short drive away. Olivia was a great host and very welcoming, really helpful and there if we needed anything. Definitely a place we would come back to stay in again :)
