Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Popoyo

We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 2 mois plus-que-parfait. Anika et Tony ont été des hôtes super accueillants et très réactifs. Si vous souhaitez vous immerger dans une petite communauté nicaraguayenne authentique, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut. 3 plages à proximité, toutes accessibles à pied. Il y a un minimarket à 2 min à pieds pour tous les essentiels. Mon copain a fait du télétravail et le wifi était bien parfait. Un petit bijou! Nous y retournons l’an prochain.

Beautiful new house about a 1 minute walk to the main break at Colorado's. Very happy with the stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Air conditioning worked great. The space was clean and comfortable. Great place!

I booked this place for 2 nights for my wife and family (8 guests) We had a great time , it rained the first day but there is space on the property to relax and stay dry. Helpful and friendly staff and a really nice Place to stay with guests. Would recommend.

Such a beautiful place, love the house layout and the views are awesome… Very comfortable place with everything you might need for your stay. Rudy and Alex (Rudy’s place caretaker) are very kind and friendly people, always eager to make your stay the best they can.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

The location was great and close to playa Guasacate. The house was very spacious and the pool and outside areas are great for lounging. Karina was an incredible host with wonderful local recommendations and very responsive. We would book with Karina again anytime!

Sin dudas uno de los mejores Airbnb en los que nos hemos hospedado en San Juan Del Sur! El anfitrión fue genial siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros dándonos indicaciones y haciendo de nuestra estadía más tranquila. Si teníamos alguna duda o consulta Jimmi respondía casi que de inmediato! El apartamento súper elegante, cómodo. Un espectáculo ver el atardecer desde la bañera que se encuentra en el punto más alto, era una locura la vista de la bahía desde ahí. Sin duda volveremos a visitar este lugar muy pronto.

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. A casa, por sua vez, é perfeita: excelente localização, equipada com tudo com o que você precisa (e mais um pouco) e extremamente confortável e agradável. Foi uma experiência incrível, que recomendo a todos (especialmente a quem surfa, tendo em vista as duas ondas “world class” localizadas dentro do condomínio).

Highly recommended, everything was excellent, the location was great, the house was great, the view was excellent, the host is very attentive and friendly, 100% recommended a very safe place.

Nice location away from the noise of san juan. We had a car, so the distance did not bother us. Do keep mind there is a limit for the amount of watts you use. It was a good amount daily and we actually didn't even hit the max, so not a big deal.

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! Le logement est en tous points conforme à la description, confortable et calme. La terrasse, les hamacs et les chaises d'extérieur incitent à la détente. La situation géographique, à une minute de marche de Playa Maderas et de Playa Majagual, est idéale pour qui cherche à profiter des vagues pour surfer, des baies tranquilles pour se baigner, tout en étant à l'écart du chaos urbain de SJDS. Il est facile de manger et de boire, à des prix raisonnables, dans les restaurants et bars situés à proximité, sur les plages. Pour les visiteurs souhaitant cuisiner eux-mêmes, il est primordial de prévoir de tout apporter avec soi - le commerce alimentaire le plus près est à environ 25 minutes de pistes, principalement non-asphaltées. Nous y séjournerions à nouveau sans hésiter.

tres bon emplacement a 200 metres de l'ocean! tres proche de 2 supers spots de surf/bodyboard accessible a pied! tres calme, vous pouvez vous relaxer et dormir tranquille. proprietaires tres cool c'etait un plaisir de discuter tout les jours avec eux!

A casa é maravilhosa, tem tudo o que você precisa para uma longa estadia, Elena é uma ótima anfitriã ela pensa em tudo, tinha até um adaptador de tomada o que foi muito útil, o banho é incrível, forte e quentinho, o fogão tem 6 bocas e todas funcionam, inclusive o forno. O forno eletrico usamos bastante, tem micro-ondas, tudo completo. Em relação a localização se você está de surftrip você estará longe de tudo, vai precisar de uma moto ou (4x4), não há uma estrada que ligue todos as praias, você terá que andar muito. Mas isso nada tem a ver com a casa , qualquer casa que você se hospedara situação será mesma, com certeza eu ficaria novamente hospedada na casa de Elena. E muito boa.

Great and well located apartment. Beautiful views and conveniently located near a lot of beaches in Popoyo. Just a few minutes away from great beaches and restaurants. Host was friendly, responsive and really helpful. The security staff at the place are also very friendly and give you great suggestions for places to eat.

hervorragendes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Wir bezahlten ca 26$ pro Nacht in der Regenzeit. viel Platz, moderne Einrichtung, gute Ausstattung in der Küche. Dicht am Badestrand. Wegen anderer Bewertungen: Insekten sind in Nicaragua ganz normal. wenn keine da wären, würde es mich stutzig machen, weil dann vermutlich eine umweltschädliches Insektizid verwendet wurde. Stromausfälle sind ebenfalls normal. wir hatten dadurch leider etwas Probleme mit dem Internet, aber Rosie und chilano waren sehr hilfsbereit. Chilano bringt einen außerdem zum nächsten Supermarkt mit dem Motorrad. Trinkwasser wird auch in der Unterkunft kostenlos bereitgestellt.

Die Unterkunft ist wenige Minuten vom Meer und in der Nähe von vielen Restaurants und Hostels gelegen. Im Zimmer gibt es kein Wlan, jedoch gibt es dieses in den umliegenden Restaurants. Die Gastgeberin hat immer sehr schnell auf Nachrichten geantwortet. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

I loved that place. Stayed there for 2 weeks and was supposed to stay only for 1. Definetly a nice place to stay if you want privacy ! Daniel is awesome as well ! Loved him !
