Lovely stay with stunning views and great facilities. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Little bit of a drive to other amenities so come prepared but a good middle ground to explore local sites.

The cottage is just as advertised. Very clean, very comfortable, very charming. Only stayed one night. Sorry we didn’t plan to stay longer.

A wonderful place to relax after enjoying all that the area has to offer - comfortable, great views, with all the necessary amenities. Tanya is a great host - responsive and eager to help.

For the record, Kathryn and I have stayed many times in Port Fairy. We always tend to look for the same thing each time. It starts with an original stone cottage that is such a part of what makes Port Fairy so unique and special. A little slice of Tasmania in Vic. So it is with a little prior experience, I can honestly put hand on hart and say this was without doubt my favourite trip. The house was everything and more. Warm, comforting, great location and very easy walk to our favourite beach and the main streets of town covering all of your needs. Cafes, food and wine, boutiques and fresh fish off the boat. Park the car and put the keys away for your stay because you just won’t need it. I also never realised how much I love a hot tub. Perfect for a family, group of friends or in our case, just the two of us and a couple of dogs. In our little clan, when you have done or achieved something exceptional, we simply say “good job”. Good job Fiona, we honestly loved it all. OX

Thank you Alex, our holiday exceeded all my expectations! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach and a short drive into Apollo Bay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which was great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return!

Great stay here. Trust what you read under Bohdan’s management. He’s a great host. The cottage is gorgeous and in a great location. Everything you need - very practical design. Well equiped and clean which was a highlight after staying in many grotty, sticky places with a lot of everything you don’t need. Bohdan asked for feedback as to what the cottage might need and I can’t think of anything - it’s all there 👍.

Rickie-Lee's place was clean and was fully stocked with amenities and things we could use to make our stay great. We made full use of the BBQ and fire pit. Beds were really comfy and the house was well insulated which would be great for the colder months.

Joanne's place was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Very helpful and even lit the fire for us before arrival. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Eloise’s cottage is located on the main street in Forrest, extremely easy to find, and the check in was a breeze. Everything you needed was provided. It was an extremely cold, rainy night when we arrived. There’s no heating in the rooms, toilet and kitchen, but there was a warm and cosy fireplace in the living room. Heated blankets were sufficient to keep warm. Overall it was an wonderful experience going off the grid for two nights. Thank you!

Lovely cozy cottage. Our pooches loved the enclosed garden. Extra welcome touches were a lovely surprise- especially after a long drive from Melbourne in bad weather. Super comfy bed and place had everything we needed.

Jade's place was all it lived up to for us. Gussie our doggo had a lovely time mooching around outside. The BBQ did the local chops and mixed grill with great flavour and quick heat to get it done and back inside in the warmth. We bought a salad at the local 'everything' shop and it was a simple and healthy dinner with the warmth of the fire. This was the best thing - the whole house kept the warmth in for our entire stay (there was a frost overnight of 1 degree and we were warm all night even without electric blankets - good news!).

Thank you for creating such a lovely space Amy & Mick. We found the house had all that we needed and more and was very comfy and peaceful. We loved the wood fire and the heated floor in the bathroom! Bring able to have our dog with us also was great.

Amazing stay at Port Fairy for a weekend trip out of Melbourne with our visiting parents. Getting to the unit was a bit confusing (it's the second unit on the driveway, like a townhouse), the front porch of the actual unit was quite unassuming, but once you get in, everything was what we'd hoped to be and more! Sunroom for breakfast/dinner! Lounge chairs around the firepit! BBQ grill! Fully equipped kitchen, and nice household cleaning supplies (we love Zeroco products, rip). It's an older unit, but refreshed with nice decor and everything was clean. There is also an LGBTQIA+ friendly bookstore nextdoor which is amazing, but that's for another review. Would 100% recommend Sophie and Elle's place for anyone visiting Port Fairy.

We very much enjoyed this charming home and found the beds comfortable and the wood stove cozy. Thank you, Cris, for making our stay so lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Showers and toilets are in pristine conditions. Had all the kitchen equipment and electrical outlets to use as a sub for stove and oven. Plenty of boardgames and DVD just in case the weather doesn't permit much activity outdoors and you want to stay inside. Dianne was lovely. She had the cottage well prepared, even leaving the heater on so it'd be nice and warm by the time we got there. She gave us some information about what's happening in town and places to go and visit. If we come down this way in the future, we'll definitely be back.

This place was wonderful. It was a wintery couple of days for the Great Ocean Road running event, but it suits the place perfectly! The place is very cosy and warm & we loved every minute of it. Watch out for the big kangaroos on the drive up! Next time, including some extra brekky food would be great. Thank you for having us :)

Wilhe’s place was perfect for a long cosy weekend away on a rainy weekend. Only a short drive into Apollo Bay but felt so peaceful in the mountains amongst the trees. We loved the wood fire, the comfy bed and just felt that the space had everything we needed - including umbrellas. Highly recommend!

Such a cosy little cottage perfectly located half way between Warrnambool & Port Fairy, so a short drive to restaurants, cafes, yoga studios, beaches, whale watching.. Yet tucked away in the beautiful countryside. It was already dark when we arrived so to open the curtains the following morning to the incredible view of the farm and horses was certainly a sight for sore eyes! The cottage is so cute and cosy, perfectly sized for a weekend away and stocked up with everything you could need. The beds were cosy and the blinds kept the morning light out so we slept like teenagers (coz babies don’t actually sleep that well!) Worth every penny, would recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks so much Belinda and hopefully see you again soon in the future!

Beautiful accomodation on a stunning quiet property. It’s just what we needed - a little getaway to relax by a fireplace. Jade was lovely, we’ll definitely be back!

Sharon’s place was peaceful private and had beautiful lush green surroundings. The house is cozy clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable, clean linen and towels. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy with lots of firewood. The property feels remote even though it’s just 20 mins from Apollo bay. and having no Wi-Fi or phone reception made it feel like a really peaceful getaway. We had fun exploring the property playing board games by the fire swinging on the swing outside and making pizzas in the wood fired pizza oven.

Beautiful quaint and cosy cottages! We got upgraded to the main cottage which was so lovely!! Wish we could have stayed longer - thank you :)
