Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable pour notre Road trip en Normandie, logement très accessible grâce aux instructions données. Petit chalet très propre, bien aménagé, rien ne manque pour passer un agréable séjour au calme. L’accès à la piscine du camping grâce aux bracelets nous a été d’une grande utilité en cette période de canicule. Nous reviendrons sans hésité !

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. If you're looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, and truly welcoming place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophie’s place to anyone. M. QUESNEL est un hôte accueillant, sympathique et respectueux. Il nous a informé sur les différents commerces et sur les festivités alentours. La maison est bien équipée, confortable et très agréable à vivre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Un séjour à renouveler sans hésitation.

One of the best AIRBNB I got. The House is truly a gem, with a great pool. Perfect for 2-4 persons and to discover Normandie.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Chantal et Jean Charle. Leur accueil chaleureux nous a fait nous sentir immédiatement bien.Le logement, spacieux et d’une propreté irréprochable, est parfait pour se ressourcer dans un cadre calme. Sa localisation est idéale pour explorer la région, avec des restaurants à proximité, notamment à Arromanches-sur-Mer et à Bayeux, à seulement 5 km. Chaque matin, Chantal et Jean Charle nous ont préparé un délicieux petit déjeuner, mettant en avant des produits frais, accompagnés d’un excellent gâteau fait maison. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur générosité et pour avoir rendu notre séjour si mémorable!

Rien à redire. Le logement était impeccable, on s’y est tout de suite senti à l’aise. L’environnement calme mais à proximité des lieux de visite rend le logement encore plus intéressant. Concernant notre hôte, merci Alexandre ! Vous nous avez très bien accueilli et vous avez mis à disposition des serviettes pour notre bébé de 3 mois sans rien demander, un hôte aux petits oignons.

avons passer un excellent séjour en famille.Rien a dire sur l'organisation aussi bien dès notre arrivée que notre départ. espérant revenir très vite.

Logement très propre, fonctionnel et bien équipé même pour un séjour avec de jeunes enfants. Port accessible à pieds en quelques minutes (7-8 min) et supermarché à quelques minutes à pieds aussi. Petit bémol sur le terrain qui n’est pas sécurisé pour les jeunes enfants mais ayant séjourné en novembre cela nous a pas impacté. la communication avec Hugo est très simple et réponse rapide.

Logement très agréable et propre ! Le jardin est un grand point fort, notre loulou l'a beaucoup apprécié ! Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés 😊

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

Nous avons passés 3 jours entres amis avec nos enfants et c’était merveilleux!!!! La maison est idéale pour une grande famille, propre, grande un jardin clos de quoi occuper les enfants à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieure. Proche des plages et du centre de Port-en-Bessin-Huppain c’est top !!! Gérard est disponible et répond facilement à nos demandes. Nous reviendrons c’est sur.

wonderful stay. centrally located for the invasion beaches. pictures don't do this place justice. absolutely great spot. communication was great. fast and informative. we would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

Great comfortable stay, location was an excellent base for visiting D Day, WW2 Normandy sites and local cultural attractions. Martine was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Gite is in a lovely quiet location and is well serviced with a good well stocked supermarket less than 10mins drive away. Would recommend.

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

Maison bien équipée ,propre , terasse et chambre à l'étage avec vue mer . Idéalement située. A peine 3 minutes à pieds de la plage et des restaurants de bord de mer. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

we would highly recommend staying here, our hosts François and Judith were very friendly and welcoming. An informative detailed plan for the DDay beaches was provided by Francois. lovely flat perfectly located for easy walk into Bayeux. there is a Saturday market 5 mins away, typically French. Our host was always happy to help with info and advice. we will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

An absolutely perfect place to stay! Benoit was a wonderful host. The home itself was very clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and a great size for our family to stay in for several days. Located on a peaceful, quiet, charming street just a block or two from everything you need. Easy and free parking, and easy to drive in and out of the neighborhood. We enjoyed dining on the patio, listening to the church bells, and having a view of the church. Arromanches was a delightful town with beautiful beaches, charming streets, and all the amenities needed for a multi-day stay. A perfect home base for exploring Normandy. We can't wait to return!
