Family-friendly holiday rentals in Port Isaac

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

Honestly the photos do not do this place justice its incredible what a view and the host could not have been better extremely helpful, always there at request, respectful, polite all round wonderful person even made us scones to bake and the the towels shaped in to love hearts was a really nice touch they made us feel welcome and right at home would recommend to anyone thank you sheila for a great experience will be visiting again

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

Lucy's retreat was a beautiful place to stay, the perfect couples getaway. She left local reccomendations, great directions, a birthday banner and even some treats for us, such thoughtful touches. A wonderful property which was perfect for our little family of 3 plus our dog. A superb location which was peaceful and tucked away from the daily chaos. The property was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Sitting in the hot tub taking in the beautiful view was just perfection. Thank you for a wonderful break, I would definitely return and recommend it.

Jenny was fab about us arriving later than expected and we got a lovely welcome when we did eventually arrive. The lodge is lovely and had everything we needed. The gardens are absolutely out of this world, every part you walk around is better than the bit before!! Very friendly, genuinely nice hosts and we couldn’t have asked for more from them. As it was our first time in Cornwall they were really helpful with ideas of where to visit and places to eat/go for a drink. Sonny (the dog) was a massive added bonus too! Brilliant few days away, it was very much needed! Thank you both again :)

What a wonderful find. We met at Tygwella for a family holiday, some of us coming from Australia and some from Manchester. The house was ideal. It was spacious so we could occupy different “wings” with our own bathrooms and come together for meals, chat and play. The house was very generously supplied with basic provisions, kitchen and laundry equipment. We wanted for nothing. Having two ovens was great for cooking adult and children’s meals. The location was so peaceful with great views and easy access to the coast path and beach.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

A fantastic quirky (in a good way) house and extremely well placed for easy walking into Padstow. Very private. Everything we needed was provided and so very dog friendly - super rear enclosed garden, dog towels, blankets to cover the furniture etc.; we could not have asked for more. The garden itself was well provided with furniture for the good weather both at the front and rear. Altogether an excellent stay - super family accommodation and we will definitely return to stay.

Had a wonderful stay. Comfortable and clean. Host was friendly and helpful. We did the walk to the beach which for us was about 30 mins with some inclines. Also be aware there is no dogs allowed on the beach from around mid may till end September. But it is still gorgeous place to visit and have a wonder around.

Lovely barn conversion, location great for day trips out to places like Boscastle, Port Isac, Padstow, Mevagissey, Looe etc.... Helen and Nigel nice genuine people available on site if needed

We only had 36 hours in Cornwall. Ian & Allison’s cottage provided the perfect Cornwall experience. Very comfortable and well equipped. I felt I was stepping back in time. Incredibly lovely area and we explored some area gems in our short time there.

A beautiful spot which was so relaxing. The house was laid out well for 2 couples. We really enjoyed our stay. Disappointed though with the local pub. Wouldn't recommend eating there sadly.

Been coming here for the last 3 years,we go to the ROYAL Cornwall show lovely set up ,we stayed here for 3 nights,we had the pleasure of meeting Ginny lovely lady ,we will be back again next year.

We had a fantastic 4 days stay in Golant. The views were incredible and the locals were all very friendly and welcoming. The house itself was immaculate and we felt right at home. The hamper on arrival was a lovely touch and the large basket of toys and games for the children were great.

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

Our stay with Stephen was great! Very clean and private space cabin. With a lovely outside area where we sat with some friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephen was great and really flexible RE: check-in timings and always had a very quick response to any queries I had before our stay. Would highly recommend.

As described, good central location within walking distance of the town. Well presented and good amenities.

Milton was extremely helpful. We left a few things behind he couldn’t have been more helpful. Answered every message quickly. We felt really at home in the Lodge. Everything we needed and appreciated the fire as the weather suddenly turned cold. Thank you for all your help. We would love to stay again.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.
