The Oaks Retreat House

Conveniently located in Southeast Baton Rouge, the Oaks Retreat House offers a peaceful, spacious, and secure venue to host your private gathering or visit. The home is situated at the center of 6 manicured acres, surrounded with generational Live Oaks and other feature trees, and secured with coded gate and doors. There are spacious outdoor leisure areas, cypress rocker and swing, and ample parking. Several excellent restaurant, grocery, and supply options are within the immediate vicinity.

No extra charge for pets, children or extra guests. No chores or extra tasks, just lock up and we'll take care of the rest. Gigabit internet, superfast internet. Driveway is 42 ft X 15 ft, large. Absolutely no parties of any kind, any size or any description. If there is evidence of a party we will add on a $150 extra cleaning fee.

Log Cabin on the River

The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

The Camper

The Camper is located two miles from the interstate, tucked away on 3 acres of private, peaceful property. If you need a break, this is the place for you. It is located on the back of our property and borders the woods. The deck is a great place to relax and enjoy the mesmerizing splash of the fountain in our stocked pond. We offer catch and release fishing, or you can enjoy a stroll on our short nature trail that winds through the woods. We welcome you to our little slice of heaven.

The Ourso Bungalow . A quiet place to get away

Perfect Bungalow for the couple looking to get away and enjoy some peace, visit family or enjoy one of the many sports and attractions that south Louisiana has to offer. Newly remodeled decor, comfy bed, kitchen with fridge, toaster oven and microwave. Complimentary coffee bar with snacks. The Colonel’s Inn

Built in 1929, this old cozy country home was built with a country store. In the 50’s they were joined. A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well. (Pricing varies for these spaces) Gorgeous back porch with lots of plants. 60 miles to New Orleans, 15 miles to Baton Rouge. 2 miles to 1-10. Walmart 5 miles. Convenience store 500 feet.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Close to highway, the university, and 40 minutes to either New Orleans or Baton Rouge airports. Studio apartment with convertible twin futon. 3-4 people sleep comfortably. Owner close and happy to leave you alone or help you with various things to make your stay fantastic! Smoke-friendly outdoors only! Smoking indoors prohibited. Maximum 2 pets. Cat-friendly! No unreported guests.

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Our Little Diversion

Located on Three Rivers Island in SE Louisiana. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy the relaxing experience at Our Little Diversion. Once you park your vehicle in the Three Rivers Island parking lot, you'll hop in our 4-seater black golf cart and start your adventure. We have fishing poles, a boat lift should you choose to bring your own boat, swings and outdoor seating, and all the creature comforts you need to enjoy your stay.
