Unique shed conversion with views to the Mourne mountains. A tranquil location situated on our 10 acre equestrian yard but close to Downpatrick and Crossgar with shops, eateries and pubs. A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. There's a private south facing garden with access to all of our site with panoramic views over Co Down. Off road parking. Horses and dogs welcome.

Portaferry Home with a View

Newly refurbished Northern Ireland Tourist Board Certified 1 bed self catering cottage attached to our house (cot is also available on request). Private courtyard and decking area ideal for a coffee in the sun or an alfresco dinner with BBQ facility. The cottage is situated on a small holding, with countryside views. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking is available to the front of the property. We are a 20 min walk from Knockinelder Beach & 5 min drive (30 min walk) to Portaferry village.

The Bolthole at Strangford Lough

The Bolthole in Strangford is a small cosy home located in one of Northern Ireland's beautiful coastal villages. The house dating from the early 1800's, with a later extension, has living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and bathroom. There are great views across Strangford Lough to the coastal village of Portaferry. Strangford village is a great location near historic houses, castles and the Mourne mountains. It has great restaurants, pubs and perfect for Game of Thrones enthusiasts.

Certified by Tourism NI, all our rooms (except the bathroom!) have spectacular sea views. Restaurants only a short drive away with mountains, golf courses, nature reserves and much more within easy reach.

Willow Cottage, Portaferry

Willow Cottage is a cosy period home from the 1800s. Located on Windmill Hill, in the picturesque village of Portaferry, it is deceptively spacious and fully renovated, while also retaining a quirky character. Located 40mins from Belfast, Portaferry is a wonderful location to explore the Ards Peninsula, including Strangford Lough, Mount Stewart, Castle Ward and St. Patrick’s Trail. Portaferry village also has some great restaurants, pubs, the Portico Arts Centre and Exploris Aquarium.

Quay View Cottage, Strangford

This beautiful waterfront home in the charming village of Strangford has the most incredible views. The pretty cottage opens up to a spacious townhouse over three floors, comfortably sleeping 8. Enjoy time with family and friends in the large open-plan living space overlooking the quay. Watch the ferry cruise back and forth and the sailing boats come and go, right at the bottom of your private garden. Have breakfast on the terrace and maybe catch a glimpse of the resident dolphins.

Annex by Kearney

A quiet rural spot by the sea, on the beautiful Ards Peninsula. Less than an hour's scenic drive from Belfast, from the Annex, walk the coast to Kearney and Knockinelder beach for a swim with the visiting seals and curlews. Cycle the Ballyquintin route or try the nearby golf courses. Drive to Portaferrry to eat or get the ferry to Strangford. A place to relax (or work remotely) and explore stunning Strangford Lough and the rest of lovely County Down. Tourist Board Certified.

Historic Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage. #1

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
