There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Connie's Cottage, Charlestown

For just two people, Connie's Cottage stands within 250 metres of Charlestown's famous harbour and beaches and of the South West Coast Path. Stone built and with many original beams and slate floors the cottage is very characterful but has been sympathetically modernised and includes gas fired central heating. There is non-restricted car parking available immediately to the rear of the cottage however in high season it may be necessary to park in the nearby pay car park.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, only a few minutes walk from Porthpean beach. Once the Post Office to a private estate, the house now offers incredible volume, space and breathtaking views over St Austell bay. The house is ideally located for many of Cornwalls attractions - The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Helligan, and Charlestown. The popular towns of Fowey, Mevagissey, Looe, Truro, Padstow, Newquay and Port Isaac are 40 minutes drive.
