Monthly Rentals in Portmellon

Spent five great nights in Nicola's place and loved it. We were as close to the harbour as is possible. Mevagissey has some great attractions and real draw was the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, both pretty much on the doorstep. The locals were very friendly, helpful and polite. My wife is in a wheelchair and everyone was graceful in helping us whenever needed, on the pavement, in and out of tourist locations and restaurants. There are places to eat to suit all budgets and we would recommend One Polkirt Hill restaurant for a real five star meal. Of course Nicola's place is also well equipped for anyone wishing to prepare their own meals. We had a splendid stay and would recommend Nicola and Mevagissey.

Mevagissey on the south Cornish coast was a little gem. A fishing harbour with huge tides, lots of shops, bakeries, and restaurants . The flat was compact clean and had good kitchen and laundry facilities. Perfect for a couple to explore the town or further afield. The ferry to Fowey was a highlight as was walking the harbour and streets. Location was a joy and we’d have no hesitation to recommend!

Emma’s studio is our favourite air bnb we have ever stayed in. The decking has the most beautiful view and the property is well decorated. The location is perfect, only a 10 minute walk down to the harbour. We came here for our first holiday with our 6 month old, and it was such a great choice. There was plenty of space for a travel cot and having the washing machine was really helpful. We usually can’t wait to get out and explore the local area, however on this trip we didn’t want to leave. And are planning to return as it was the best value, and the perfect location to relax and take in the beautiful view.

Mevagissey is a beautiful place!! Gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed the Lost gardens of Heligan and the coastal walk to Gorran Haven. We also visited St Ives and Tintagel castle - both amazing! Debbie and John are brilliant hosts - thank you for the lovely and thoughtful treats, bread, jam and milk…etc Thank you for making us feel at home, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
