Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Porto

A wonderful place to relax and unwind! The place has everything you need, very well equipped kitchen. The home's biggest plus is the proximity to the ocean, you can watch the sunset from the terrace. Mum really enjoyed it, would definitely go to this house again! A bit of joy was spoiled by the cleaning staff, the woman was unkind, it gave us a dscomfort before leaving on her own. We had an unloaded trashcan left on which we were pointed out and told to take it off, adding, you may not already be taken away, but then let's raise the cleaning fee. But the house itself, location and hostess - everything was wonderful!

Our stay went perfectly. The house is conveniently located close to the beach. Very pleasant stay and Ruca takes care of it. I would recommend it in a second.

We spent a long weekend at Isabel's place with a group of friends. Isabel was very welcoming and pleasant. Her place and amenities are as described. Casa da Visa was spotless upon arrival. The accommodation is quite close to Porto and its airport, which allowed us to enjoy our trip until the last moment. Slightly off-center, there is no noise disturbance. I recommend a stay with Isabel on your future trips to Porto.

Our stay was amazing. We went to Grijó for a wedding and the location couldn't be more perfect. Emília was an amazing host, super available, attentive and of a giant sympathy! The house, besides the excellent cleaning, is very welcoming and is equipped with everything we need and something else :) all the corners were thought to detail with a lot of love and affection, both inside and outside that is also very pleasant ! And it's impossible not to feel the good energy ❤️ We sincerely thank you for your attention and look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this property for a long weekend away with friends. The house was even better than it appeared in the photos - incredibly spacious, good sized pool out the back, plenty of sun-loungers. There were great spaces for everyone to be together - but plenty of room for people to relax away from the group. The journey into Porto was very easy and affordable by Uber and no issues delivering food in. Check in was flexible and easy, with the host welcoming us and explaining how everything worked. We also didn’t realise until just before that breakfast was included - and everyday we woke to a huge selection of breads, fruit, cheese, meats, pastries and cereal! Really could not fault either the host or the home we stayed in. 10/10 in every aspect and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

It was as described in the listing. The place felt so peaceful and was easy to get downtown Porto via busses or walk to the oceanfront. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful with suggestions.

Our family (4&3 yo) had a lovely stay. The space is large for the kids to play. It is a space which allows play time and games with no TV, something of a blessing. The bedrooms are close by to each other but provide privacy so not to disturb each other. The hosts are wonderful, we arrived late but José still took the time to greet us and provide essentials to save us having to go shopping. Our kids really enjoyed their time with José and his home.

Our first family holiday with 2 young children - we absolutely loved our time at Filipe's and hope to return next year. The apartment is spacious and made us feel like we were at home. We enjoyed using the pool and tennis court/football picth with the kids. There are beautiful beaches within walking distance, and so many amazing restaurants serving excellent food. Filipe was very helpful and responsive to our many questions, and his hosting skills were much appreciated. We did not have any problems, but if we did - we would have felt safe with Filipe! Thank you for everything, Filipe.

It was such an amazing and lovely stay! Apartment itself is so cozy - it feels as at home. Clean, bright and very quiet and lovely! Lisa is an amazing host together with Alexandra they have ensured our stay will be unforgettable- amazing check in and check out. They are very attentive to all the requests and shared guidelines on how to get to epic Porto places, travel around, what to visit and where to get lovely souvenirs! Apartment is located in a cozy area, 2 mins from ocean and locations for food and drinks. We hope to get back to Porto soon and definitely will choose same location and apartment :)

Kinga & Antonio were lovely hosts. The apartment is very well laid out. Nice big rooms and a thoughtfully equipped kitchen. The decor was classic & tasteful and the garden & pool was the cherry on the cake! Kinga responded quickly to any queries I had and she & Antonio introduced themselves when they came by to check the garden & pool. The location is great - not far from the city centre, not fare from the beach and fairly close to the airport. In addition, there are supermarkets and the huge Norteshopping center all within 10m walk. Bolt cabs are good value in Porto, so it makes hopping in and out of the city or to the beach super quick and inexpensive. We had a lovely relaxing stay to recharge our batteries! So happy we stumbled on this place! The hosts were so sweet and showed us the best spots. The location was amazing and it was perfect for 4 of us. I would love to be able to stay here again!

We were here for a week and it was an easy commute by car to Porto plus the local beach up there street was beautiful.

Great welcome with Porto and fruit juice, great location 50m from the metro and bus, accommodation a little outdated but perfectly in line with the photos so no surprise, only small downside the mezzanine staircase is very steep. Thank you Carlos for the welcome in very good French and for the good advice on restaurants, things to do.

We stayed for more than a week at Manuela's place and had a great time. Manuela and her son Daniel were very welcoming from the check-in till then end of the stay (thanks for the delicious port wine!). The house is better than the pictures - cozy living room, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and lovely garden ... with a hot tub! Porto old city is 20mins drive, Aveiro is 40mins and Douro Valley is around 1.20mins from the place. There is a lovely restaurant by the river around 500mts away. Steep down and uphill walk but amazing views and very good traditional Portugese food. Good to have own transport (you can park inside or on the street) but there is a bus stop just few feet away from the house (we didn't use it as we had our own car). Overall a lovely stay. Thanks Manuela and Daniel for hosting us!

Absolutely wonderful home and stay here. The house was clean and cupboards were stocked with spices and essentials. We were left some homemade jam and coffee pods which were a huge plus. The beds were comfortable and the views of the valley are exceptional. We will be returning.

Very nicely furnished. Beautiful flower garden in patio area. Kitchen contained all necessary items.

Renovated in 2015, the house has three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. It was a great place to stay for a week to view Porto and surroundings. Reception was extremely friendly, very warm. The house features a beautiful terrace, a (unheated) infinity pool with beautiful views over the valley and Duoro and features a (clean!) Weber BBQ. Lots of privacy to enjoy with your company outside. 15-20 Mbps internet sufficient to prepare you digitally for a day trip. Despite the fact that the fire alarm system was not completely stable, the owner has done everything possible to improve this during our stay. For a stay just outside Porto with peace and space, this is a great location.

I can’t thank Manu enough for her friendliness, hospitality and kindness. She is one of the nicest hosts I have been fortunate to meet. She helped us throughout our stay and was always available for advice and support. The accommodation itself is wonderfully spacious, secure and surrounded by beautiful gardens. It was a good base to explore Porto and surrounding areas, I would highly recommend. Many thanks 😊.

My friend and I spent 10 days in this beautiful apartment – looking for peace and seclusion, and that's exactly what we found here. The location is perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Especially the private pool with the breathtaking view over the Douro river was an absolute highlight! The apartment itself is small, but very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is surprisingly well equipped - ideal if you like to cook yourself. The bathroom is quite small and has only one sliding door, which may take some getting used to, but was not a problem for us. The immediate surroundings are very quiet, which we enjoyed very much. The nearest large supermarket is about 5 km away - so easily accessible by car. The drive to the house was straightforward, even if the roads are a bit narrow and hilly - typical of the region. Overall, a great accommodation for those who want peace and nature
