We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

Wonderful peaceful stay in this really well designed and eco-friendly compact pod. Comfortable bed & furniture, well equipped, spotlessly clean, great styling, and bifold doors opening onto a lovely patio looking west out over the rolling hills, where you really feel the silence of the wide open space. Yes you have to drive a short way down narrow country lanes, but then this is part of the joy of being in Cornwall. Very friendly and helpful communication with Rachel, and a warm welcome - thank you!. Very very highly recommended.

My partner and I took our 7 week old son to Vivienne’s place for a lovely stay in Cornwall, for our first family holiday. The location was perfect, idillic and peaceful. The accommodation had everything we could have asked for and Vivienne even brought a cot in for us. The views were stunning and waking up there every morning was beautiful. There are cows on the neighbouring property which come up close to the fence and also chickens in the yard in the morning. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

What a clean, beautiful cottage in such calm surroundings - we've enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect - clean and tidy with stunning nautical decor, we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The view of the sea is much better than described - a highlight for me was sitting in bed drinking my morning coffee watching the waves! The beach is a 2 minute walk away and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sadly we didn't catch a glimpse of the local dolphins! The garden is full of beautiful flowers - the access is from the road up a path with steps thru the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils/cutlery/crockery, the bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding, the lounge was well stocked with games/books/dvds which the kids loved. Nick was extremely responsive and proactive, very helpful when I messaged him, and we were very grateful for a bit of flexibility on checkout. Overall a lovely relaxing experience - can't wait to return!! Thank you!

A truly beautiful, special place! Everything was exactly as described. The accommodation is not only tasteful, it also has absolutely everything you need. Good, easy communication with Roxy. We miss the beautiful view! A little gem on the cliff! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

Had an absolute amazing time at the lodge. Jennifer was extremely helpful. The lodge was lovely and easy to find thanks to the instructions Jennifer gave us. Will definitely be visiting again!

Great base to explore this beautiful area of Cornwall. Charming, quirky and well planned with comfy beds and very attractive artwork. Private loos a bonus to each room. The garden is lovely ( steep steps up). Enjoyed view from summerhouse where we sat with drinks. Explored the Rame peninsula, NT houses, Looe and more. 2 excellent meals in the village pub. Lovely staff. Great walk on coast path from golf course to Cliff Top Cafe Tregonhawke cliff. . bus back! Village shop a great asset for basics and Cornish goodies. Nicola is a very communicative host.
