Aden and Wilma are perfect hosts and their home is beautiful. The room is spacious and comfortable and the furniture is so beautiful it’s hard to believe you are staying in someone’s home and not a country inn. Amazing views in every direction.

We had another amazing stay at Sara’s place and already know we’ll be making this an annual tradition. The space is warm, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. We loved starting our mornings with coffee, homemade treats, and those gorgeous dining room views. The swing set is such a fun touch, and the ever-expanding family of goats continue to be a favorite part of our stay. Everything about this visit was just as special as we remembered. Already looking forward to next year!

We absolutely LOVED our stay with Lindy. Her home is so comfortable and private. We enjoyed the deer in the backyard and having coffee admiring her beautiful garden. The bed was super comfy, with many thoughtful amenities including fresh flowers. She made us an amazing fresh fruit salad and delicious breakfast. The neighborhood is quiet and serene with scenic places to run and enjoy the view of the bay. Thank you Lindy! We'll be back!

My fiancé and our kids had a wonderful stay with the Martins. They were very welcoming and helpful and made us feel right at home. The kids loved playing in the yard and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. Melanie’s homemade breakfast in the morning was delicious. We will definitely be back!

It was a very short notice booking…like an hours notice…Kathy and her husband Martin accommodated me. I am so appreciative of that. Martin met me on arrival and checked me in. A VERY pleasant man. He was very kind and helpful. He was so attentive even though he’s recovering from knee surgery, his knee was very swollen. Very tough man! The area was out of the way, and very beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay. The decor was personal. Kathy’s photos and art decorated the place as well as items from their travels. Thank you so much.

We had a great stay at Connie’s! She was always responsive and so helpful! Connie greeted us on our arrival and pointed out two deer grazing under the trees of the spacious yard. There with my husband and teenage boys, there was plenty of room for us in the upstairs rooms. The kitchenette was perfect for us as we were there visiting family. The location is convenient to many restaurants and shopping areas. It is right near Haverford College which is a beautiful place to walk with many trails. Would stay again for sure! We booked this location based on the wonderful reviews and we found it perfectly as described! The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable! We enjoyed an outstanding breakfast courtesy of the Cafe on The Bay’s owner Tammy! I am forced to eat gluten-free and am use to only being able to enjoy a cup of coffee when meals are offered. When Tammy became aware of my dietary restrictions, she provided me with one of the best breakfasts I’ve enjoyed! We will definitely return if the opportunity arises and stay again!

This is our second visit to Jim and Lisa’s cabins (last time we were at the smaller one) and once again it was PERFECT! A fabulous place for a peaceful getaway in a gorgeous setting in a cozy, comfortable, sparkling clean and well-appointed cabin. It is the perfect combination of simplicity and luxury. We felt as though we were back in much more simple and graceful times, yet with every possible modern amenity at our fingertips. Cozy loving room, spacious open kitchen, charming bedrooms and best of all a great porch to sip coffee slowly and take in the beauty talk around. Thanks again Jim and Lisa! We will be back!

What a perfect place to get away! Cozy, artsy home and such a lovely, warm host. She volunteered use of her rain jacket when I came unprepared, left a treat for breakfast but also left me in private to recharge. The bed was comfortable, with easy access to the bathroom and kitchen, gorgeous view into the trees over the deck, great water pressure. Odin, friendly doggins, was available for petting as desired but he was also the perfect, peaceful gentleman with no barking or other intrusive antics. I can recommend highly!

I stayed at Eleanor Rose's to photograph the aurora borealis. The aurora turned out to be a bust, but the stay was perfect. As a photographer, I needed a location with an expansive view to the north - and this location fit the bill! The house reminded me of my grandmother's house -- right down to the old farmhouse door knobs. But it had all the amenities I needed -- and lots of hot running water to wash up!! Plus, Eleanor Rose bakes a yummy raisin molasses pastry for breakfast. I would definitely return!!

If you are looking to visit the city of Frederick but want a place away from the city Linda's is the perfect place. She was very responsive and has thought of everything from providing toiletries, to even providing amenities for a dog. The bed was very comfortable and felt like home. As soon as you walk into the house she has cookies waiting for you at the door and coffee machines on both floors. What is even more convenient is that she has a washer and dryer for guest to use. The breakfast she provided was great and the dining area for guest was beautiful. I really appreciated that he has a large fenced in yard for our dog to run and she went provided bags for the pet waste. Linda has really gone above and beyond. I was also fortunate enough to meet her and was so kind and welcoming. So if you ever want a beautiful relaxing place to stay and still be close to Frederick'd Linda's is the place to go!

It is always a pleasure to stay with Angelique. Her property is always clean and fresh. It feels like coming home and is very cozy. The amenities are wonderful and Angelique thinks of everything when she adds her personal touches to the apartment. She is always pleasant and responsive. This is a great place to stay because you are not in the heart of the city and that takes you away from the hustle and bustle, the noise, and all the traffic in town. This is just a great place to go and unwind and feel welcomed and happy.

Gary’s place was clean and comfortable. Gary was very accommodating and communicative when I made a very last minute reservation. The house is full of character!

I really enjoyed my stay - the bed is good (restful sleep) - room big enough for yoga routine (good storage). Great pet, dog (and family/guest) in the house. Bathroom accessible and available. June is a very responsive host - I made some requests - very accommodating and open to suggestions/recommendations. Nice street / neighborhood. Easy parking. I hope to stay here again!

We were the only ones there on our night, had the whole place to ourselves so it was quiet. We were prepared to share bathroom and kitchen! Living room and kitchen table area have enough room if people want to hang out and visit, a real “ hostel” feel. Raven gave a great, informative introduction to the house and rules. We really appreciated the breakfast supplies, egg, bread, peanut butter , jam, fruit, coffees and teas.

The room is in the back and very cozy. What made it so special is the location, how beautiful the view is but especially how beautiful the house is. I really enjoyed the architecture of the home it kind of gave me a feeling of being at a summer getaway like in the movie Dirty Dancing. The owner was extremely nice and sociable and I could honestly say that if we lived near each other I can see us being friends. A+++ Note: The owner was extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions.

My partner and I had a wonderful day at Cole’s place. The place is beautiful and has a lot of interesting things to look at, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is very clean and spacey. We really enjoyed the gorgeous house and gardens as well as the company.

We were in the DC area for a wedding and SO happy to have Kathleen and Carl's to set out from and return to. The location (including the backroad drive) is beautiful and peaceful. Noted dulcimer-makers, they designed and built both the original house and these guest quarters. From the first message to the in-person greeting (with stocked fridge), and final goodbye, we were made to feel so welcome, comfortable, and thoroughly at home. I have stayed in a lot of 5 star homes, but this is the first where I wouldn't/didn't hesitate to ask for a bandaid for a second night of dancing. Wonderful spot, exceptional hosts!

The Cozy Loft was exactly as advertised. Sarah and her family were perfect hosts. Unfortunately due to our schedule we were unable to take advantage of the outdoor space available. Thank you Sarah!

Maximo is a wonderful host. He was very attentive to all our needs and we had a great time. The place is very nice, clean with everything we needed. He prepared delicious breakfast and gave us a lot of helful info of the region. We warmly recommend his place!

We had an absolutely amazing stay for the second time with Brian and Sinziana. The suite was exactly as we remembered it and their home has lovely gardens and is conveniently located. It was quiet and peaceful and they were outstanding hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. The homemade breakfast was outstanding and we could not have had a better stay! We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Frederick.

We had a group staying for a month which was something he was not used to, but Steve was very accommodating. It was an amazing place to stay and is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, a gym (which was very accommodating by offering a one-month membership), and it was easy to get around the area. It is a phenomenal house, and the cat was great company greeting us when we came home or got up. It was like a home away from home having everything we needed including a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely look forward to staying there again.

Perfect location for me taking a course at Waterford Craft School and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming and generous.

This was our second stay at Bradley's and will not be out last. The house is filled with tasteful antiques and beautiful furnishings throughout. We stayed in the Eisenhower room which paid tribute to Ike with photographs on the wall and a couple of military items. There is parking beside the house on his property and it's about a 4 minute walk to many restaurants in town. Breakfast was compromised of cereal, yogurt, fruit, fruit bowl, packets of oatmeal, bagels, coffee, tea, juice and breakfast bars. The best part is his beautiful very large and incredibly laid back dog Cane (?) who greeted us upon our arrival. Made it feel like home.
