An extremely welcoming place that had many things to do and accommodating our autistic children very well! It was a shame we didn't get the chance to make s'mores! We would love to come back to this place sometime since it is so peaceful and homey! We watched older movies that we forgot about! Thanks for the DVDs!

Felt like a home-away-from-home! So much more than a hotel room. Very peaceful area with a very good view. Bed was comfortable. It was obvious that Pam cares about her clients I will be recommending this to others.

This is a beautiful, private place with amazing nature. We saw deer and hummingbirds, and they were pretty close to us. This place has a wonderful cat (Mr. Moo) who will give you much love! It is a bummer that we didn’t see dogs, but we got to see the chickens and got eggs from them! Amazing place! Although we may not hear beautiful sounds like others mentioned, we felt the peace and mindless presence. We enjoyed our time, and it was a perfect place for our short retreat.

We had a great stay! Check in instructions were clear and the space was clean and well-kept. Check out was a breeze as well. Monica was always responsive and friendly.

Very beautiful Airbnb !!! Private and very quiet neighborhood , everything we needed was in the unit down to the Keurig pods , extra perk for the rice cooker and Instapot. The bed was spacious and very comfortable It was like being in our own oasis Lots of memorable moments and will always cherish our time there Check out as a breeze and will definitely come back again if we need another get away

The Fox Den is one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fireplace, grilling steak, and simply relaxing for a couple of days. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Although the cottage and hot tub are located next to the main house, we still felt a sense of privacy. We've been visiting different Airbnbs annually in the VA and PA areas, and the location of this one was excellent. We followed two of the recommendations from the provided guidebook, and they were amazing (Carter's Mountain Orchard and Fiorano Restaurant).

Teenagers point of view...easy, chill, and very comfortable. Loved the pool time (2 teenage girls) From an adults point of view... loved the privacy, pool by the room. It was very relaxing and pleasant. Exactly what we needed for the weekend. We also loved the pool. Owner was very pleasant and quick to respond. We will book again.

The decor and furniture enhanced the Gettysburg experience. The location was adjacent to the battlefields. Private and cozy .

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend at Scott and Christi's place. It's very peaceful and we appreciated how friendly and helpful they are. There are ducks, horses, and chickens on the property which you can appreciate from the screened-in porch while sipping your coffee. The drive to Charlottesville is relatively short and very scenic; the house is also close to many popular wineries. We also got some snacks upon our arrival! I appreciate the little ways Scott and Christi went the extra mile to make our stay an enjoyable one!

The cottage is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Great place to stay if you are in the area for Spooky Nook as we were (about a 15 min drive). Kathryn and Martha were perfect hosts and great with communication. I highly recommend staying here.

Everything was just lovely! We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing cottage. Kim and Matt were great hosts, they were thoughtful and made everything easy for us. Would definitely love to come again!

Enjoyed a great stay here during World Pride! Very walkable to the Metro. Felt safe walking around late at night. Space was clean with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable stay! Grateful for the dog friendly accommodations while in town for a wedding. The suite was well equipped and nice to have a kitchen for light meal prep. Convenient location with Uber for wedding events. Lindsey was very responsive and friendly. Would stay here again!

The Taj Garage never disappoints! We first stayed here about three years ago and its standards have not dropped since. Highly recommend this darling accommodation.

5 stars for sure! The detached garage was even nicer than the photos! The neighborhood was so peaceful and had coffee just a short walk away. Rams Head on Stage was a blast of a concert venue too! We stayed at this 1-bedroom apartment for one night (June 9 to June 10), and it was a great experience. The place was very nice and cozy, perfect for a short stay. It had everything we needed — all the essential utilities, coffee, tea, plenty of clean plates, and a generous supply of fresh towels. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and kind, making check-in easy and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!

This was our first time to the area. My best friend was getting married at Bluemont Winery. Everything was as expected at the guest house. We loved our stay. We got to meet Bob and chat some. We did some hiking close by and saw the beautiful overlook. We had a tour all day Saturday of the wineries with a large group from the wedding. Brunch on Sunday at The Local. We even met Zena, one of the dogs, who was very friendly. We would definetly stay again. Thank you Nancy and Bob

Peaceful, bucolic accommodations, close to areas in Northern VA and DC especially if traveling by car.

JoAnne's place was truly lovely. She took great care to make us feel at home and added in little touches, like welcome snacks and bathrobes, to make us feel welcome. She truly cared about our comfort. The home is adorable and extremely comfortable in a beautiful, serene wooded setting. It's access to the W&OD trail cannot be beat! My mother absolutely loved her daily visits with Meister the Cat and we enjoyed sipping coffee on the front porch while soaking in the sounds of nature. Thank you, JoAnne!

Christine was an outstanding host to me - and very responsive (and was very flexible). The air conditioning in my condo building is currently getting repaired. She permitted early check-in, which I really appreciated - and even gave me the opportunity for late checkout. The property has everything you need for an excellent stay - outstanding amenities (you pretty much not need anything when you stay here). I slept so well at their property. This property would be an excellent choice for those who wish to say long-term (like a month or more). You can tell that Christine cares about this property as it is maintained very well. Keep up the great work, Christine.

We celebrated our 19 year anniversary and my 48th Birthday at Logan’s place. The serenity of the lake and backyard was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. We ate crabs by the lake, went kayaking multiple times, enjoyed sitting around the fire pit listening to music and having coffee on the doc in the morning. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We walked to the beach multiple times and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We brought bikes and biked around the neighborhood too. Solomon’s island is very close and on the way to Logan’s we enjoyed the boat ride at the Maritime Marine museum and lunch at the Tiki bar, but we didn’t need to drive anywhere once we arrived since we had plenty of food and drinks. Everything was labeled clearly, which we appreciated. We loved the fresh flowers, chocolate mints as well as the shampoo, conditioner, coffee, cream, sugar, spices, qtips, cotton balls and even tooth brushes if you needed them. We would love to visit again.

From scheduling to checkout, Lauren made every effort to make our stay comfortable and to give us the flexibility we needed to fit in all of our activities. The space is well-organized - handy shelves, a place to hang clothes, multiple mirrors to make it easier for ever in the group to get ready, outlets where you need them, washer & dryer. The high quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were a nice bonus, and the blinds made it easy to let light in or have privacy. Everything was clean, and it was such a convenient location for all of our sightseeing activities. We especially loved the coffee shop down the road within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We just loved our stay at Frog Jump! Gail was the perfect host and even provided essentials when our baggage was delayed. Home made muffins awaited us in the morning and the bed was super comfy. Frog Jump was situated in a beautiful forest with a huge pond and lovely peaceful surroundings. The only thing missing was not enough time. Short drive to Charlottesville. Highly recommended.

A beautiful peaceful setting with lots of wildlife around. Christina was always very responsive whenever I asked a question or needed something. a great place to stay near to family to celebrate Thanksgiving.
