Welcome to Apt #2! A block away from the Pine Street Arena, and Sandstoner Park (which has a playground and a nice beach in the summer). Walking distance to downtown Potsdam, Clarkson, and Suny Potsdam. It has a double bed and a twin-sized bunk bed (sturdy enough for adults/attached to studs). The living room has a couch and a twin-sized air mattress in the chest. Weather permitting, access to the yard, fire pit, picnic table, hammock, and grill. Private entrance. Pet and 420 friendly.

The studio apartment is located above a newly constructed garage, that is not attached to our house so you have plenty of privacy. This is a beautifully renovated house. River access for kayaking, canoeing, swimming. kayaks and life jackets are available for guests. There is a large back yard with a firepit facing the water as well as a back porch/deck and a large side/front deck to enjoy watching the water and wildlife. The area is quiet and peaceful but yet directly located in the town of Potsdam. There are window AC units in each bedroom as well as central heat.

Mary's house was great! the location was beautiful. We enjoyed having our coffee on the screened in porch both mornings, and listening to the birds and watching the water. It was soo relaxing! The inside had the classic smell of an Adirondack lodge. It reminded me of spending my summers at my Grandparents cottage in Higley as a child. We were also really pleased with the location. we were within 10 minutes of Potsdam and Colton. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to stay.

This place was absolutely perfect! The owner was so incredibly nice and responsive, the place itself was cozy and had so many wonderful amenities. It's great to find a place that makes both children and pets welcome. We always have to look so hard to find a place that has fun things for the kids but also will allow the pup. This was everything!! This is our new favorite place to stay when we come up!

Thank you thank you thank you! Everything about this place is so humble! The owners went above and beyond to make this a place where it fits everyone’s needs. I’ve never been to a place that feels like home always like a hotel feeling but definitely not here. The place was very clean and up to date. The walks you take are so peaceful and the things you can do in that area are unlimited. What a beautiful home and area to visit! I will definitely be staying at Shanara’s when ever we visit the great state of NY. Thank you for everything!!!
