Nigel and Penny were charming hosts who provided more than the average details of the locality and suggestions of what activities were available The barn is very rural and quite quaint . It’s everything you could wish for if you want a complete countryside getaway Although the twin bedded room is accessed via exterior steps only, it was very cute and the beds were extremely comfortable with lovely feather duvets The forest is literally right on your doorstep. It’s an ideal stay for anyone with a dog.

Chris remained a great host. my family had a peaceful stay in this place. It's clean and tidy with a parking space outside the Banglaw and garden was great for evening coffee. We would definitely choose to live again here if we came in future.

We were greeted by Lisa at the property, she handed over the keys and showed us around the place. Telling us everything we needed to know, really helpful host. The lodge was just what we needed for a little night away, the tennis courts were a fun addition to the stay. Aswell as her beautiful dogs that she introduced us to! Overall, really great place to stay, it was immaculate and I would highly recommend. 5 ⭐ Lisa 👏👌

Clare was flexible on the check in time, as we'd communicated days before our arrival to England, which was very helpful. She recommended local events and there was a listing provided for nearby shops, pubs, cafes etc. The accommodation was like a home from home, very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. Hoping to stay again on our next visit!
