Monthly Rentals in Powderham

As before, we felt right at home and it was lovely visiting again. We were greeted with home made shortbread and a bottle of wine and a visit to check that we had everything that we needed.

Molly was incredibly helpful and an absolute gem when we needed another bit of help with making a bed after I accidentally put one person instead of two staying at the property. We had a wonderful stay there, felt right at home immediately and all the space was so calming and enjoyable. The kitchen was so well stocked with equipment, coffee and there were some delicious scones with what seem to be home-made jam and cream waiting for us. thank you so much for being an incredible host and thank you for having us in Devon. One note that anyone looking to stay here might want to know is: the church bells do chime so if you are a very very light sleeper, it might be a bit tricky but after we got used to it quite quickly it was a wonderful place to stay.

We did not meet the owner but it did not matter as she responded immediately. Location was perfect as an older person, quiet and peaceful. Many walking trails. The village has no Laundramat and very limited restaurants. Train service nearby is very good with frequent service. Could not fault the apartment with the exception of a fold-up bed into a cupboard everyday to open the main big window with the view. Probably not suitable for guests with children. In all other respect it was very modern and perfect.

A real gem of an airbnb. Great location with walks nearby from the door. We really appreciated the items Joan left us for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
