The house is uniquely across from the sherrifs office which offers added security. Our home is located up a flight of stairs on the 2ND FLOOR and unfortunately not handicap accessible.

The back yard is completely fenced and is shaded by beautiful 100 year old oak trees. I also allow guest to bring a pet with a $75 fee. Pet should weigh under 30 pounds. House was much bigger than expected! Living room, bedroom & bathrooms are very nice. There was plenty of linens and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you may need. We were able to move the bed in one of the bedrooms to make room for 2 pack n plays. Izzy is a super nice accommodating guy! Above and beyond!

Amanda and Chris were absolutely amazing hosts! Honestly, this was the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at—it truly felt like a home away from home. The setting was incredibly peaceful, with stunning views of the Louisiana swamplands that made it all the more special. The place was so comfortable that even though we only stayed for one night, we easily could've settled in for a week. I didn't get a chance to go fishing, but they had everything you could possibly need for it—tons of gear, a fish cleaning station, and all the cooking essentials. This place is a real gem!

The house had everything we needed and offered beautiful views. The restrooms were clean, and the yard was very relaxing and private—perfect for some quiet downtime. We especially enjoyed drinking coffee while sitting out on the back patio. There was more than enough parking, which made things super convenient. Cassandra was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay. She even recommended a few great spots for brunch. The ferry is also nearby if you’re looking for a quicker way to get into New Orleans. Overall, a great experience—highly recommend!

Great home plenty of space for the 6 of us. Pool was refreshing. Hot tub games in the back yard. Cameras, I am sure are good for security but a little uncomfortable as they were pointed at the pool & hot tub. Near plenty of places and a few blocks from the river to watch sunsets. Kitchen could be better stocked with place settings, there were only 4. Limited silverware. Dead batteries in door lock and TV remotes Host responsive and friendly also allowed early check in, maintenance guy was very friendly and welcoming. Overall would recommend!
