Matt was an exceptional host! From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. He was responsive, accommodating, and made everything seamless for me and the rest of the guests. The place was exactly as described and in a great location. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Matt’s place to anyone visiting the area

Simplesmente maravilhosa! A estadia foi incrível do início ao fim. A casa é ainda mais linda do que nas fotos, impecável em cada detalhe, super bem decorada, organizada e com um cuidado visível em cada cantinho. Extremamente confortável, com cama deliciosa, ambientes aconchegantes e tudo muito limpo e bem cuidado. Foi uma experiência acima das expectativas! Dá para ver o carinho e o capricho de quem preparou o espaço. Sem dúvida, uma daquelas estadias que a gente não esquece. Recomendo de olhos fechados e com certeza voltaria!

Location, Location, Location...this place was perfectly situated on Ipanema Beach! The view from the balcony was breathtaking! The host was very welcoming and accommodative. We wouldn't hesitate staying here if we are ever in Rio again.

The pictures don’t do this view justice! Once you walk in it’s the most gorgeous view with sights of the lake, the beach and Christ the Redemer. The location was extremely walkable with tons of bakeries, bars and restaurants within 5 minutes. The doorman was also very pleasant and allowed us to drop our bags off at 7am right as we got off of our fight so that we could explore the city. The host was great as well and allowed to check in as soon as the flat was cleaned from the previous guest. We also loved that the mall was just across the street with plenty of shopping centers close by as well. I would highly recommend staying here for the best experience in Rio!

Honestly completely loved Henry's place! Getting inside was a bit sketchy at first but very easy. Once inside, the place was fantastic, the views in person from the terrace was honestly amazing, the pictures on the listing don't do it justice! I'll be booking again for sure when back in Rio. The place inside was very clean. It is inside a pacified favela so seeing armed men is very common, I didn't mind at all as they mind their own business. I was walking back to the airbnb at 2-3am and never felt in danger( My girlfriend and I were dressed very nice, however, out of precaution, didn't have any jewelry displaying). I will say that if your not a fan of a little adventure, it might not be for you, in my opinion it was a great and fun experience and provided me with a completely different experience of Rio. Henry was also very accommodating and catered to our itinerary, we will absolutely be coming back! Thanks Henry and Yuri!

Our 8-day stay at this location in Rio was absolutely amazing. The host organized an airport pick -up for my team and I and was there to greet us. The host gave us a tour of the home and left fresh fruit for us to enjoy. The home is in a great location with stunning views of the beach and is not too far from Copa and other attractions (20-30 minute uber drive). The home itself is well-maintained and was very comfortable for a group of 4. I’d highly recommend this home.

Um lugar para você colecionar momentos mágicos. As fotos já dão tudo que vc verá, mas presenciar esse lugar é sem comparação. Não tenho o que falar, o espaço é pensado em cada centímetro e o anfitrião parece prever todas as suas necessidades com tudo que tem dentro do apartamento. É simplesmente ir e aproveitar. No Rio eu só volto se for pra me hospedar aqui.

Sem palavras para agradecer à Cristina e Moema pelos dias incríveis no Joá. O check in presencial é o começo nota 1000, mostram tudo e dá vontade de ficar batendo papo. Melhor check in que eu já fiz na vida! A casa tem uma vista linda, energia boa e detalhes que fazem a diferença: amenities de banheiro, produtos básicos de cozinha e lavanderia, Wi-Fi bom e até chocolates de boas vindas. Os móveis e utensílios não são novos mas funcionam perfeitamente. A jacuzzi é quente e gostosa, a mesa de bilhar com 8 bolas para jogar “mata-mata” carioca foi uma baita diversão todos os dias. O condomínio é seguro, sem barulho, a praia da Joatinga não é longe mas é melhor ir de tênis, acesso difícil com muitas pedras. As anfitriãs enviam dicas que valem a pena, com lugares escolhidos por quem tem bom gosto e cuidado com os hóspedes. Estiveram disponíveis o tempo todo, superando as expectativas e melhorando a viagem. Esse lugar deixou saudades! Espero voltar em breve para tomarmos um café na Carol!
