Der Aufenthalt in der Casa do Mar hat in jeder Hinsicht perfekt gepasst. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig, zu Fuss nur wenige Minuten vom Strand, der Busstation den Restaurants und dem mercado entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben alles blitzsauber angetroffen. Im hübsche Garten kann man bestens verweilen und die Mahlzeiten einnehmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

The apartment itself is spotless, very well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet. It’s an ideal place for a couple looking for a cozy and calm retreat in the city. This Airbnb was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a luxurious home away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Every detail, from the cozy linens to the fully equipped kitchen, was spot on. The location was unbeatable—tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood but still just 20 minutes from Lisbon centre which has amazing restaurants, shops, and attractions. We loved waking up to the natural light pouring in, enjoying coffee on the balcony, and relaxing after a day of exploring. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available, BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY! This apartment is a true gem—peaceful, restorative, and beautifully located. The view of the cliffs and ocean was nothing short of spectacular, creating an experience I'll never forget. The apartment had everything I needed, well-stocked and thoughtfully prepared. Getting to the beach couldn’t have been easier; a quick walk down the stairs, and I was at a secluded beach, practically all to myself during the low season. A perfect escape for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty!

From start to finish, Teresa was most helpful. Accurate information, quick replies to questions all helped beforehand. The apartment itself was brilliant, just what we needed, and the pool was an added bonus, even though the beach and the sea were very close by (although remember Sesimbra is hilly and the quickest way to the beach is via a good number of steps!). The location is great and easy to walk (a few minutes only) to Sesimbra's town and fabulous restaurants. Really happy with our choice. Perfect!

Highly recommend this Airbnb! Check in was extremely easy Simone was there to walk us through everything and was very responsive throughout the planning process. The apartment itself was very clean and included a full kitchen as well as a washer. Situated in a quiet corner but only takes 10-15 minutes to travel into the main city.

Beautiful! I don’t know where to start - Catarina is an amazing host. If you want to experience all Lisbon has to offer stay at her place and follow her recommendations. The apartment is better than the pics. The views are indescribable and worth every step it takes to get there. A water/city view AND a botanical garden view. It’s all true and being able to choose every day is something you won’t find at another spot. The location is completely walkable. There is an amazing bookstore two doors down and a crazy delicious gelato store right across the street. I could go on but will leave the rest for others to discover. Eu amei a estadia! Fiquei apenas uma noite com a minha família e foi perfeita. O apartamento é grande e confortável. Pertinho da praça do comércio, Time out, pink street e alguns outros pontos turísticos. Ling, uma excelente anfitriã que responde super rápido e super atenciosa. o Check-in é fácil e prático sem perrengue! Com certeza voltaria a esse apartamento. <3

We had a wonderful stay at Lise's apartment. It was even more spacious than expected for a city apartment and was even better than described. The bedrooms and bathrooms were big with high ceilings. The location was tremendous. Great restaurants and shops just minutes away. I would absolutely consider staying here again when I return to Lisbon.

We stayed for 2 nights in Lisbon after coming from another destination in Portugal. We basically had one full day to see as much as possible. This place was exactly what we were looking for, practically in the middle of Historic District, easy to get around (either walking or using public transportation) and plenty of room for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 young kids). The configuration and amenities of this unit would make it a suitable place for an extended stay. Barbara responded almost immediately to all of our inquiries. I would definitely recommend this apartment for its location and a very responsive host who made the experience more enjoyable with timely information.

Het appartement is compleet en erg schoon. Het zwembad is ook schoon. Alleen jammer dat er geen ligstoelen aanwezig zijn. Wel een ligplaats in het gras. Voor een verblijf voor een stadsreis is het zeker een aanrader. Op loopafstand van de wijk Belem en met de tram in 20 minuten in het centrum. Daar zal je beslist niet zo’n mooi appartement vinden. Ik zal het appartement iedereen aanraden.

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

Excellent apartment, host and location! From the time we booked Natasha was responsive and helpful. She left very clear instructions and lots of recommendations. The apartment was in a very nice area easily walkable to the center of the city in less than 10 minutes. There was a beautiful view of the castle from the patio and my children loved the pool which was very well maintained. It was very child friendly in general including toys, books, and kitchenware for children. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

Apartamento muito acolhedor. Espaço impecavelmente limpo e com tudo o que era preciso. O contacto foi direto com a D. Sidónia que se mostrou muito prestável, muito atenciosa e muito simpática. Muito próximo da praia, apesar que com um bebé, ir de carro é mais cómodo visto que o apartamento se encontra numa zona mais alta. Piscina em muito boas condições, com espreguiçadeiras disponíveis e muito calma. Noites tranquilas sem barulho no edifício.

Lovely stay. Sonia met us on arrival And was very helpful checking us in. Apartment had a lovely view. Was a steep walk back from the beach but we didn’t mind this but just keep in mind. There are some great restaurants near by. We reccomend tacos pexito for a chilled lunch, and Casa Mateus or O bagel for dinner. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks

This was a great spot for a first visit to both Cascais & Portugal. Everything was walkable, but peaceful. Downtown Cascais (25 min walk) is pretty, but busy even in late May so (boring that I am) I was glad to be farther away. The winner was the green view from the balcony every morning with coffee. The swing chair was a big hit with the teenage kids. The other winner is the ocean side walk nearby...straight to Cascais or minutes to Giua cafes & restaurants which offer some extraordinary outdoor eating venues ($$). Also Cafe Ophelia nearby was sweet. The green space out back & the pool will no doubt work well for younger kids. Maria was a very friendly & engaged host. Tip: Lidl grocery store is an easy 8 min walk & carries a surprising array of good quality, cheap fresh baked breads & sweet pastries.

This beautiful penthouse property was more than just a luxurious place for me to stay during my May 2025 visit to Cascais. It was my home away from home, and our warm and attentive hostess made it so. Our penthouse apartment was lovingly maintained, comfortable, and situated in walking distance to everything we wanted to be close to. For us, it was less than a ten minute stroll to beaches, transportation, ocean front restaurants, and the old city center. There is even a supermarket less than a 5 minute walk away should traveling to one of the best coastal towns in all of Portugal to do your own cooking sound perfect to you. But, I expect that with all of the great dining options in and around town and this apartment, and with world class dining in Lisbon being only a thirty minute or so train ride away, you will end up just shopping for a great bottle of Portuguese wine to sip on the comfortable and spacious terrace that overlooks the ocean in this very fine accommodation.
