Apartment holiday rentals in Prairie du Chien

Perfect little apartment for our one night stay! Clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed. Josh responded quickly to any questions we had. Although, we didn’t need any; we did notice a little basket of items that travelers often forget, such as tooth brushes. Such amenities mean a lot. Should we have reason to be back in Viroqua, would definitely stay at Polyshades again!

I really enjoyed my stay, I was in the area to do some fly-fishing and it suited my needs well. Nice town, great visit to the Driftless!

This place was perfect for us . It was clean and we were able to get to where we needed easily. Parking was accessible. Kitchen was sticked well. Drew was very responsive. It was nice to have 3 bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable.

Dawn is an excellent host. Her place is spacious, very clean with a full kitchen and full-sized washer and dryer. The bed (I slept in one—was there solo) was very comfortable. The living room space has two comfortable recliners with a TV and good reading light. I was in Elkader for a family funeral and would definitely book with Dawn again.

We've stayed in one of these apartments a few times and as always, it offered a lot of amenities and was clean, lovely and very comfortable. The decor is so homey! The code we were originally given to unlock the door didn't work, but Pam came right over and remedied the situation. We really appreciated that, as we were needing to get to our daughter's senior voice recital at Luther College. The apartment building is a short walk to the peaceful Decorah Community Prairie with a view of the Upper Iowa River. A bit farther, but probably still walkable for most, is College Dr., where a Casey's, a Kwik Star, The Landing, Old Armory BBQ, Pizza Ranch, Pulpit Rock Brewing Co., river walk and Whippy Dip are located. Still a bit farther and a bit more hilly is Luther College's beautiful campus. The price was higher than it normally is. However, it was during graduation festivities and most likely, every other lodging option in the area increased their prices, as well. Any questions, please ask!

We hit a deer on the way to the Airbnb which delayed our arrival by over 2 hours. After all airbags deployed we were very sore and tired. You never know the quality that a bed will be but Nick’s place had a very comfortable bed. It was a nice end to a pretty bad night! We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying in this cute little two bedroom home! Everything was very clean and a large enough space for us to watch TV and visit. We enjoyed the porch and sat out there on the folding chairs that were provided inside. Everything worked great and we will definitely be back when in Dubque.

Trevor was an excellent host. He was quick to respond to an initial message when I booked, and his tip about the local street sweeping schedule saved me from a parking ticket. The location was perfect, with great options for food and drinks within just 1-2 blocks.

Everything was excellent. We will stay again soon.

We loved the place. We came to debuque for my sons graduation from UD so the location was perfect! The place felt comfortable and very clean at a very affordable price. We will most definitely love to stay again.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway!

Another fabulous stay in this CLEAN, well furnished home. Grand girls said it feels like coming into their grandparent's home. They love the reclining sofas, pop up coffee table and, especially, the waffle iron. Looks like one dinner will be waffles during every stay. Bed is comfy. Home (not a house thanks to lovely, homey decoration and literally anything you need even for an extended stay) is quiet and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to all downtown amenities including a good grocery and the coop. We don’t know what we’ll do if this home is ever “off market” as it is the best AirBnB in Decorah. We can’t wait to come back in the Spring!

The unit and neighborhood was a good location to all the places we went to. Kaleen was a great host in providing all that we needed and quickly responded to our questions. We enjoyed the experience of Decorah and would recommend her place to others looking for a comfortable place to stay. We’ll done!

Sherri was very personable, down to earth and responsive. We are from the country and Sherri felt like one of our country neighbors. She was very willing to help and accommodate. Would definitely stay there again.

Parking spots are small but this listing worked well for two guys on a hunting trip. Loved easy access to downtown Decorah restaurants.

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

Kaleen’s place is a perfect spot in Decorah. Short walk to downtown and a lovely home to return to. Bonus fire pit and back patio! We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
