We delighted in our stay at Marcelo's place. His and Donna's renovation of a medieval, in-town house is impeccable. A substantial degree of professional interior design is evident in the minimalism, yet all works flow historically. The lower-level spa and sauna are hedonistic yet blend beautifully with the rustic ambiance. The technology underlying the works is largely absent from view - yet functional. The first floor features a kitchen which will not disappoint an avid chef. The sitting area is minimalist but softened by clever, "soft" upholstery choices, cushions and comforting throws. Selective sculpture and objects d'art complete the picture. The surface treatment of walls is superb, as if revealing centuries of habitation in layers, each agreeing with one another in terms of tone and pallet. The rendering and paint work is first rate. For the aesthete and practical traveller alike, Marcelo's place offers a considered, curated view into the past embraced by the present.

She’s incredibly helpful—always available and willing to assist with anything we needed, no questions asked. Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Lovely place. Recommended for those who want to disconnect with the city and rest their head and ears. Maison avecellina is a great retreat to relax in. The house is lovely, clean and functional. The outdoor space and barbecue invite you to stay outside. Francesca, the owner, is welcoming and helpful, kind and prepared to recommend what to do in the surroundings. From Maison Uccellina you can easily reach Perugia...Città della Pieve...Castiglione del Lago and many other places. We will definitely visit Francesca and her beautiful home again! Claudia

To assess this property, we must start with the HOST, a professional in every sense. From the minute 0 of the reservation, until the departure; always attentive, very kind and very professional. It is a pleasure to meet serious people and this gives value to the application. The beach house is a paradise in Italy. Easy access, attention to detail, peace, nature, comfort. Our trip was as a family with our two poodles and I think they were the ones who enjoyed the property the most, seeing them run and jump through the green areas of the property and live with many birds, rabbits is priceless. Our daughter enjoyed her stay studying and with the peace and tranquility of the place, it was not difficult for her to concentrate. We, on the other hand, did some sightseeing in the area, all very close and well connected by road. It is a very well-kept, safe property and above all, enjoying its sunset, sitting on a lounger, enjoying a good wine (from the area) is a unique experience. Thank you Maurizio.

We really enjoyed our holidays at Alessandro's Place! The view from the house is amazing, it's well equipped and clean. The host was very sympathic and helpful, we would like to come back again one day😊

Great place in the wild Umbria, very picturesque and with a large swimming pool, during our stay almost every day just for us. Because the owners also come to the cottage on holiday, everything was provided with the best equipment. Slept well on a very good mattress, the dishwasher is such a wonderful luxury and gives extra vacation time, and in the kitchen you will find a lot of small practical extras that you often miss in other houses. Thanks to a handy list of good restaurants nearby, we were still able to eat without any problems after a late arrival, Céline even booked a table for us quickly. Very good communication with the host, new, extra sun loungers were brought during our stay... We had more than we needed and would love to come back!

We have stayed at a fair number of AirBnBs in some beautiful places. This was (by far) the best and most beautiful of them all. Our stay here was part of a four AirBnB trip (Rome, Amalfi, Tuscany, and Venice). This place is incredibly scenic, quiet, tranquil, and the unit itself has an old farmhouse/vineyard kind of vibe. But in spite of its age, it is well maintained and comfortable… supplying everything you need. After touring the area during the day, we (two couples) would come back in the late afternoon, and put together a charcuterie board and sit outside drinking wine, and playing cards until it was too dark to see the cards. The hosts (staff and owner) were so kind, friendly, and approachable. Simply put, this was THE BEST STAY EVER!
