Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Presque Isle

We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. Michelle was a responsive host and took care of all our needs. The house has two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. It also has two bedrooms, one with a firmer mattress, the other was much less firm. The parking for two vehicles was adequate and off the street. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location is close to both Presque Isle peninsula and downtown. We hope to stay here again.

The Lemon Drop Inn is a lovely Lakeside retreat. The home had everything you need for a getaway, including a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathroom. The fenced-in yard provides privacy and an easy way to let our dog out quickly (a huge plus for a rainy weekend)! The house rules and check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to navigate. We would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful place to have coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the lake. So many amenities and nice touches provided. Rachel was very responsive and friendly. Enjoyed the restaurants in nearby Edinboro and Waterford, and only about 1/2 hour to Presque Isle in Erie. Very relaxing location for us to bring our pups with us. Love this place.

Beautiful, we felt right at home! The fenced in backyard and deck was stunning but even more beautiful was the view. The house was in a great condition, very spacious but also private enough as there were only two rooms on each floor. The finished basement was so great and we loved that each floor had a full bathroom. the location was perfect, we were close to downtown and to all the wineries we attended. highly recommend!

We have stayed Ted’s place twice now. Very lovely home, very well stocked with everything you need. Always clean very responsive to any questions, Angie is the best if you need help also. Would stay again.

We booked Eduardo’s place to spend time at splash lagoon, this was close to many restaurants, stores, and activities. The home served its purpose to suit us for the weekend:)

We loved this stay!! What a great location. So private. The house and grounds were so beautiful. My teens had a great time in The pool. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We spend one night with eight people (teens that are as big as adults) and a child. We had plenty of space to spread out. I wish we could have stayed longer!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Very cute cabin located within walking distance to the campground, little park, and Sally’s place. Easy to find and fit our needs for the trip.

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beyond the description. It was beautiful and extra roomy. We had a group of bridesmaids stay here for the weekend as we prepared for a friend’s wedding! Having a bathroom in each room was incredibly helpful for couples to get ready for the wedding. The location was extremely private but also close to Chautauqua Institution where the wedding was held. The host was easy to communicate with and helpful when booking. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great house and enjoyed the indoor pool.

Michelle was very kind! Her empathy came to the forefront when she allowed us to keep one of our cars parked in the driveway for a few days after check out due to an emergency. If you'd like a quiet getaway with family, this is perfect! We also took a 45-minute car ride to Allegheny National Forest and spent several hours hiking. You can walk to the lake, and the public beach access is only a 15-minute drive (it has a very scenic view). Highly recommend!

This place is a gem in northwestern Pennsylvania. It’s perfect for nature lovers who enjoy birding, flora and fauna identification, outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and biking, and for those who want a quiet escape. The quirky decor adds a lively and entertaining touch of nostalgia while being accommodating in every way. Lee and Windle are excellent hosts communicating before, during and after our stay. We enjoyed the wood stove, metal roof and porch as it rained most of our stay but we were kept cozy and comfortable while still being a part of the outdoors. Highly recommended and we will return to check it out during different seasons of the year. Thank you for opening the is space for others to enjoy.

WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary trip. We loved that Dave respected our privacy with having an easy check in and check out without any interactions. We loved the peace and private beach area! We recommend comfortable hiking shoes for the walk to the beach and bug spray if you aren’t a fan of the outdoors and adventure. We will definitely be back!

Very nice whole house rental. Great quality for the price. The private beach isn’t a quick hike. Drivable location was disappointed that the private beach was no dogs allowed which made it impossible for us to spend time there. The state park was very close by and we were there every day in a dog friendly beach.

My husband and I took our dog Cali to Kj’s place for the long weekend, and it was more than we could have hoped for. The home was clean, safe, and comfortable. Kj did such a wonderful job creating the space, and there is so much intention behind all of the detail. It’s very close to Presque Isle and so many other attractions. Next time we are in Erie, we hope to stay at Kj’s Nauti Dog Cove again!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Hite Camp celebrating my birthday! Alvey was super friendly and accommodating and we greatly appreciated the homemade muffins and fresh eggs. The cottage was cozy and we felt right at home. We loved sitting out at the fire pit in the evenings, listening to the frogs along the river. Our dog had a great time exploring the property and we liked how centrally located the cottage was. We made a day trip to Presque Isle State Park and there's hiking nearby at the Erie National Wildlife Refuge. A trip to Riverside Brewing Company is a must and it's in walking distance, too!
