Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pringle Bay

Colettes place was exactly what we needed to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. It was so peaceful. There were so many toys my daughter could play with and very child friendly which I appreciate. The place was clean and very neat. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay for family or friends getaway. Has everything you need and David was so helpful and friendly. Had such an awesome stay in such beautiful surroundings!

We just left Cape Town and our stay at Gareth’s beautiful home overlooking the beach below. It was even better than the photos! We woke to an amazing view of the sun rise each morning! The beds are super comfy and the rooms bright and airy during the day. Such an incredible experience. We loved being south of downtown Cape Town with easier access to Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. We could have enjoyed spending an entire week soaking it all in. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting. It was also super safe secluded on the hillside with a secure garage and gated pathway to the home and off the beaten path.

We absolutely loved this house. It’s very cozy, and you can immediately tell that the hosts are creative souls. The place is filled with unique vintage items, artistic decor, and an impressive collection of books. The location is perfect, offering stunning mountain views. It's the true heart of the wild. We had daily visits from baboons, which made the experience even more special. The braai area is perfect. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, a freshwater river for swimming, and a charming village center with great cafés and a supermarket. We felt safe throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to nature lovers and anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The host and his assistant Rita were always available and helpful. A truly wonderful experience.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

We had a wonderful stay at Elsabe’s Houthuis right on the beach. The location was absolutely stunning, with the sound of waves and breathtaking views. The house itself was cosy, well maintained, and spotless. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure everything was in perfect order for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and we highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat by the ocean.

We LOVED the house and felt very comfortable there. It is very quite, safe, close to the beach and the house is just beautiful. Very tasteful interior design and everything needed was there. We would love to come back some time. Definitely recommendable!!!

Fabulous place, location, and hosts. I highly recommend both. Kalk Bay is all charm. The apartment, top floor, has a wonderful view of the ocean and hills. Stunning. Easy secure walking into town. Lynne and Luiz are the best. The apartment is perfect in everyway: the bathtub overlooks the hills and with the sound of the ocean is all peace and comfort.

The stay at the villa was very wonderful and the owner of the villa, Catherine, was very kind and helpful. The villa is private and has everything you need.

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Kalk Bay apartment! It’s spacious, stylishly furnished, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the harbour. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Olympia Café and Harbour House. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect spot for our wedding weekend—the bride even got ready here! We’ll definitely be back.

Wir hatten während unseres Aufenthalts leider eine sehr herausfordernde Situation, da mein Partner einen Bandscheibenvorfall erlitt. Umso dankbarer sind wir für unseren großartigen Superhost, der uns in jeder Hinsicht unterstützt hat – sei es bei der schnellen Suche nach einem Arzt oder bei allen anderen Anliegen. Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit haben uns wirklich berührt. Das Apartment selbst war wunderschön – geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Es hat uns in dieser schwierigen Zeit ein Stück Ruhe und Geborgenheit gegeben. What a amazing Airbnb experience with Tacha! She welcomed me and we immediately felt like old friends. She gave me a ton of great tips. The house is just amazing, beautiful decor, comfy bed and bedsheets, the view is amazing some days I could smell the sea water! You can walk everywhere or get a uber it always like 5$ for a 10-15 min drive. You should definitely book it 👍🏽

We had a wonderful time at La Mer flatlet. Beautiful views and good accommodation. It was cold and raining, but the inside fireplace was the place to be to watch the waves crashing over the rocks in front of the house. Will visit again. Good value for money.

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Elfriede made our stay so special and we loved every single second of the time we spent there. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely become a new special place for us. Xx

The property is out of a dream, gorgeous views, watching sunrises from the pool area while having breakfast was the highlight of our stay, one of the best homes we’ve stayed in, it’s alittle far from town but they’re still quite alot you can do around the area, Debbie our host was such an Angel, always eager to assist when we needed anything although the house gets quite chilly in the evenings but there’s a fire place and heater to keep you warm, plus heated blankets. Overall had an amazing time

Wir verbrachten einen fantastischen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Der Garten mit der unglaublichen Vegetation ist ein Traum und wird von Tobias von Herzen gepflegt. Im und um das Haus hat es alles was man für die Ferien braucht und noch viel mehr. Sei es für einBarbecue oder ein gedeckter chilliger Sitzplatz, wenn es mal kurz regnet. Das Team von Martin ist sehr herzlich und erfüllt einem alle Wünsche. Wir freuen uns, wenn wir wieder einmal kommen dürfen.

Table Mountain Villa is so special - the house feels like a treehouse and is beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. The views of the city are sensational, sunrise through moonrise, with the mountains dramatically rising up on the other side. The house flows between spaces and feels both cozy and airy. It was our home base for adventuring all around Cape Town with our kids while also participating in a professional conference. The location was convenient and we felt well prepared with suggestions for food shops and hikes (out the back gate!) We absolutely loved the house and our time here, and the entire team was so welcoming and helpful. I hope we can make another visit. Thank you for sharing this special place.

This is a great house with an amazing view on the city, then you look behind you and see the Table Mountain. Great place to stay over a weekend or a longer place. Love the big couch and Bean Bag Chair.

This is a lovely house, perfect for our big family group. The views were spectacular, standing out on the balcony watching the sunrise was quite something. The house was well situated, a bit of a walk down to the town (and a more painful walk back up the hill!) Yvette was very responsive to a couple of teething niggles, which was helpful, as were her recommendations for local spots to visit.
