Daisy Hut -Shepherds Hut, Tregony, Truro, Cornwall

GillRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had a really lovely stay at Michelle’s shepherds hut. We were in Cornwall for a wedding and looking for somewhere near by to stay. The shepherds hut was in a lovely location and very peaceful. Michelle communicated really well and the shepherds hut was lovely and clean and the best equipped air b n b I have stayed in. Would definitely recommend.

One The old smelting works, near Hall for Cornwall

It is almost under the viaduct but there is almost no sound from trains so do not let that put you off even if a light sleeper. Very convenient location for the centre of town.

Lovely cottage in a great location

DorothyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Doug was always extremely responsive and went above and beyond in respect of communication. He advised that he was not present to give us the key and show us around but told us who the key holder would be and that we could always contact him in case of any problems ( there were none of course.) The cottage is in an ideal spot in the village, the lovely little courtyard overlooks the church so has a magnificent view. Very quiet location but also minutes from the takeaways and pub. We purchased food from the Chinese takeaway and pub both of which were excellent. The main road can be reached from the village in a few minutes which gives access to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula and surrounding areas. Doug had recommended the King Harry ferry to get to the NT Trelissick gardens and that was a lovely experience crossing the river. The gardens beautiful too and currently dog friendly as they are in trial period of allowing dogs ( the woodland walk and parkland is at any time.)

Crugsillick Studio

This lovely place was perfectly located to allow for me and my wife to explore the Roseland peninsula with our two dogs. The local coastal walks were stunning and so varied. It’s a great base for exploring the nearby beaches, with a wonderful beach within easy walking distance for those who are fit (a fairly steep woodland pathway). Lots of nice places to eat out nearby too, highly recommend the Standard Inn pub. The Cornish Italian literally 5 minutes down the road was very good too. The property was very clean and tidy and easy to locate. It had ample cooking equipment and it was nice to have various oils, foil etc provided. The fresh flowers, tasty biscuits and wine were lovely touches & Annie came to greet us, making us feel very welcome. The garden was nice and secure, & considering our little Jack Russell is normally an escape artist, she did not find a hole to escape from!

Castle by the Beach with Sea Views, Portreath

Great value for such a lovely unique place. very quick and easy stroll to the beach which is dog friendly, very rural and quiet little village but close to the more touristy towns like St ives, tehidy woods is a very nice woodland walk with clean and dry tracks so no need for wellies imo. William is a very nice and responsive host, everything we needed etc was so simple that it was only a couple of messages exchanged. the kitchen is clean and plenty of appliances to make what you want. A lovely powerful shower and the bed is comfy but very much on the firm side, its very peaceful there and me and my wife really enjoyed our stay.
