House holiday rentals in Progreso

My wife and I had a great stay here in Chuburná. The house was very clean, the pool well maintained, and the beach was a 30 second walk from the door. You can also look out at the ocean from the bedroom window which was a plus. The town is very quiet and safe, and the locals are all very friendly. Everything moves at a slower pace here and it feels very relaxed. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Yucatán and stay near the beach!

The property is beautiful. It's great for a family vacation. It was obvious that it was professionally furnished and decorated. Attention was paid to every detail throughout the property. We were not too happy with the town as there was no real nightlife and the town seemed to be pretty impoverished. Thankfully the property was so inviting. We spent a lot of time at the house enjoying the amenities offered by the house. We enjoyed being able to prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The pool house was so nice. We had beach towels available to us. We had a couple of minor issues but they were addressed very quickly. While we were not impressed with Progreso. we were very pleased with the property. Thank you so much!

We loved our time at Louise’s home. It felt like we hit the Airbnb jackpot. It was easily one of the best places we’ve stayed during all our visits to Mérida. Everything was just as pictured, but even better in person. The location is perfect, very close to all the restaurants and La Plancha. You’ll be glad you stayed here!

One of the best houses we’ve stayed in. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and parks. An hour drive to the beach, cenotes & ruins. It was perfect for a 4 night stay - wish we’d have had more time.

What an incredible stay! The house is exactly as described- directly on the sea. Every morning it was calm as glass until 11:30a- could walk 60+ft out to a sandbar. It’s a small beach but you can walk along the coast to collect shells/look at the other beach homes. AC is only wall units in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms- it was warm in the afternoon or when cooking. The upstairs unit couldn’t keep up so we slept downstairs instead. But nothing to worry about. Spending each sunset on the rooftop was our highlight. And the pool when it was windy in the afternoon! Add 2 cholorine tablets daily to keep the water blue. Chelem is a tiny charming town. Chedraui in Merida and Progreso are best for groceries. Try Pescadería Cristo Rey IN Chelem- there is a Cristo Rey in Chuburna but it’s not as good. Plan for takeout- we had the best camarones ceviche and pescado frito. Also book a trip to Isla Los Columpios, ojo de agua, and Playa los Carbonaras! We already want to come back!!

Ken and Moya are super nice. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Their place is great and they are awesome people. It exceeded our expectations, definitely we would come back!

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt bei Renata. Es war sehr cool, dass sie uns noch 2 Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt hat, da Merida relativ gross ist. Bei uns war es sehr heiss (Hitzewelle 40 Grad) weshalb wir froh um den Pool waren. Das Airbnb ist sehr schön und würde ich jedem empfehlen.

Roxana es una excelente anfitriona, desde antes de llegar fue clara, amable y trato de hacer todo más fácil, fue muy atenta y respuestas rápidas. Nos recibió con unos cocos 🥥 que se agradecen 🙏🏼 en cuanto a la casa tiene una vista al mar perfecta, la terraza y la piscina son muy bonitas para pasar horas, las camas son cómodas y la casa se encontraba muy limpia. Sin duda alguna volveremos, gracias Roxana por todo !!

La casa estaba limpia y con las amenidades que se indican en la publicación. El lugar tiene una vista excepcional del mar. En general todo muy bien.

Muy buen servicio, los cuartos muy cómodos, la noche familiar que pasamos de lo mejor, la alberca muy limpia, es verdad tenía flores del árbol de cedro que da sombra a la alberca, pero es normal, moscos si hay normal, pero se disfruta la estancia en la casa.

Excelente lugar. La comunicación con la anfitriona muy cordial. 100% recomendado La zona muy segura, muy tranquila. Cumplió con nuestras expectativas 😊

El lugar está increíble, y la casa está bonita coincide con las fotos. Hubo mucho viento por la temporada por lo que la alberca se ensució, pero cuando le pedí que la limpiara se solucionó en el momento. El Último día un medio, nos quedamos sin luz debido a que había bajadas de luz por el viento. La solución era cambiar el cable. Michael mandó al electricista pero no se logró mucho. También nos dejó un vino lo cual agradecemos mucho. Espero pronto se solucione lo de la luz, es un lugar increíble que vale mucho la pena disfrutar. Gracias por la hospitalidad.

La casa es fantástica para ir en familia o con amigos. Está muy cerca del centro de Progreso pero justo donde acaba el malecón, así que es muy tranquilo y la playa está perfecta y sin gente la mayoría del tiempo. Abisai es muy amable y ayuda con todo lo que necesitas. La pasamos muy bien ☺️👍🏻

Hicimos un viaje en familia extendida donde pudimos convivir todos ya que los espacios son muy adecuados para alojar 16 personas comodamente y los amenities de primera. El área de Tulumcito te permite resguardarte del viento y le da un toque muy comodo sin tener a restaurantes. El servicio de Victor y Concha (que se tienen que contratar aparte) fueron muy utiles y su ayuda a cocinar y mantener el orden fueron de gran ayuda. Asi mismo nos permitió hacer actividades en grupo de Padel y foot ball asi como kitear desde la comodicad de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar, todos los que estuvimos en el viaje (desde 85 hasta 8 años), estuvimos de acuerdo que mucho del exito del viaje fue haber elegido el lugar correcto. Volveremos el proximo año. Gracias!

This is by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. I’ve traveled all over Mexico and this trip was my favorite. The place is beautiful, right on the water! There was plenty of drinking/cooking water provided. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. I would recommend renting a car to make exploring easier. If you’re a beach lover, this is the place! Rossy also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and site seeing. Although our favorite part of our trip was our beach days at the house. Thank you so much, Rossy! We WILL be back!

Bonita casa, con cocina / utensilios, y kayaks para la playa. Zona tranquila, puedes sentir la privacidad y disfrutar de la playa. Siempre atentos y responden rápido a las dudas que puedas tener... Buenas recomendaciones para tours y restaurantes.

This place is really wonderful! Amy and Rick are super hosts- responsive and friendly. We felt rapport with them immediately. The house is very clean, well appointed, and comfortable meeting all our needs. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and it is an easy walk to restaurants, the beach and the beautiful malecon. It’s a great place- highly recommend and we hope to return !

Felices de nuestra estancia pasamos 8 días inolvidables, mi esposo mi hija y yo. Agradecidos con el anfitrión Raúl por su amabilidad y disposición. La alberca está muy bonita , nos hubiera gustado poder utilizar las bicicletas pero para nada afectó nuestra estancia, lo compensó perfecto con las sillas para playa que son muy útiles. El aire acondicionado esencial por el clima se agradece bastante al igual que los múltiples ventiladores, en general, la casa muy equipada con más de lo necesario para la estancia, segura y tranquila, muy buena ubicación. En Didi es muy rápido y fácil moverte por la zona. Estamos muy agradecidos, esperamos volver muy pronto :)

Just wow! We absolutely loved this place! It’s in a perfect location that allows you to walk to and from the different attractions. It was a very comfortable place and we felt safe at all times. Silvia was great and very helpful.

Absolutely LOVED this place! It was fantastic. We have stayed in lots of chelem beach houses. This was amazing and one of our favorites. The pool is everything. The space is huge and had everything we needed for our two week stay. Fully equipped with super reliable internet. Incredibly responsive hosts. The fact that this host also provided water for our entire stay was awesome. Thanks again!!
