Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Progreso

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

The house is fine, there is a shopping center 2 blocks away, it has air conditioning, the pool is outdoors, the beds are comfortable, in front of the shopping center there is a bus that takes you to the city center. Armando responded at all times with questions and requests.

The property is beautiful. It's great for a family vacation. It was obvious that it was professionally furnished and decorated. Attention was paid to every detail throughout the property. We were not too happy with the town as there was no real nightlife and the town seemed to be pretty impoverished. Thankfully the property was so inviting. We spent a lot of time at the house enjoying the amenities offered by the house. We enjoyed being able to prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The pool house was so nice. We had beach towels available to us. We had a couple of minor issues but they were addressed very quickly. While we were not impressed with Progreso. we were very pleased with the property. One of the best houses we’ve stayed in. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and parks. An hour drive to the beach, cenotes & ruins. It was perfect for a 4 night stay - wish we’d have had more time.

My partner and I visited Merida for a week. We loved the space ! Very clean , walkable, lots of privacy and the pool was amazing. I used it everyday. Netherlands kitchen is fully stocked lots of dishes , towels and toilet paper etc. the water pressure was great and so was the WiFi . We slept well in the bed. The sun wakes up in morning as it floods the bedroom. It was not a big issue for me but I’d say big an eye mask if it’s not your thing. The birds sing and greet each other early every day. I loved it so much it warmed my heart. The highlight for my is the pool area with a large beautiful tree. My goodness !! it is so beautiful like a painting. We walked around mostly after 4 pm Which worked since I had to work a few days while I was there. I’d come back in heartbeat Thanks Myr and Sam!

The place looks EXACTLY like the pictures. It was an absolutely beautiful and incredible place to stay!!! The neighborhood is also very quiet, and we had no problem parking our rental car on the street out front. We were during a VERY hot week, and were exceptionally grateful for the pool and the air conditioning. The location is definitely walkable to the downtown restaurants and shops, but it is also very, very cheap to Uber within Centro. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and gave us some great recommendations! 10/10 would recommend, we'd love to stay here again!!!!

We really enjoyed these days of stay! While the property is exceptional with a unique location right on the beach and wonderful views, Paloma's guide, friendliness, and warmth were extraordinary. What a magical place! You have to visit 💫💫💫

The place was very nice, very quiet, everything was excellent, the only bad thing was that the electricity failed us, but we had a solution at the time outside. Everything was excellent. And we also realized that in the evenings the light goes down a little bit.

This was our second five-month stay at Eugenio's, and this place really became our home in Mexico. Eugenio and his family consider us to be friends, and it's very reciprocal. Looking forward to coming back to our Mexican haven and the pretty little town of Progreso, with its wonderful beach and friendly locals!

The apartment is as shown in the photos, everything is fine. Clean, tidy, safe, equipped kitchen.

This was a lovely little place to stay! Pool was well-maintained and no one was out there until after noon, so we had the whole pool area to ourselves most of the day! Great restaurant/bar across the street with food, drinks, and entertainment. Lots of ex-pats in the area, so easy communication. I would stay here again or would recommend to my friends and family,

This place was wonderful, and I look forward to staying again in the near future! It had everything that we needed, and our host was extremely proactive about anything we had questions about in the area, as well as information related to checking in and checking out, so we could make the most of our stay. She was also able to take care of a few rowdy neighbors who were partying too loud, and that was very nice to experience because not all hosts do that.

Luis's place exceeded our expectations! It was well decorated and comfortable with a beautiful pool and outdoor spaces. Luis was friendly and helpful too.

Oscar was always on the lookout, super attentive and friendly, the accommodation is more than excellent, it has everything you need and more to spend an incredible few days, the next time I return I will surely stay with him again.

The whole place is very nice, it's a great place to relax.
