Very gorgeous place. The pictures do not do it justice in my opinion. The view from the outside is amazing! The place was also very clean when we got there. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We had trouble checking in because Apple Maps will take you somewhere completely different (make sure you use the google maps link they provide) and they had someone come find us. I would come back here and recommend this place to anyone.

La villa responde a lo que buscábamos: un alojamiento cómodo para dormir cuatro parejas, cada una con su habitación y cuarto de baño propios, y próximo a las zonas que queríamos visitar durante nuestra estancia. Está dentro de una gran finca cerrada (Villa Ortensia) con varias edificaciones en su interior y amplias zonas verdes y caminos perfectos para pasear, hacer deporte, aparcar vehículos, etc... A 1 hora en coche de Nápoles y media hora de Caserta aproximadamente.

We traveled all day and when we arrived Nicola had supplied us with snacks and breakfast for the next day. The kitchen is stocked with all things necessary to cook meals. There is a grocery store a few doors down the street that has anything you would need and a butcher a few doors down for there. Also, a green grocer truck comes down the street most mornings offering fresh fruits and vegetables. This place is a home and you feel it from the start. Even though it is very spacious, it feels like a warm hug. The beds and beddings are comfy, the bathrooms spacious with lots of hot water, and the garden and views are breathtaking. From the huge upper patio you can see neighboring villages and the vast rolling hills. We were there in the Spring and were witness to the grapevines changing from sticks to then leafing and then we saw tiny clumps of grapes beginning to form. This is such a wonderful place; I hope many people can experience the peaceful setting and warm people of the village.

Una volta qui, non vorrai più andar via da questo splendido spazio unico nel suo genere. La struttura si trova a ca. 1000 mt. adiacente un laghetto montano dove si può praticare della pesca sportiva. Nelle vicinanze, si trova il Santuario di Santa Maria del Gualdo e San Giovanni Eremita risalente al 1200. Inoltre ci sono diverse aree pic-nic e per chi volesse pranzare in loco, si può recare presso il ristorante San Giovanni che offre una cucina locale e a base di pesce con prezzi accessibili.
