House of Gold

Becky Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Riccardo’s place, the house is as described and photographed and we felt even better than was expected. The gardens are an absolute delight to walk around and sit amongst, an abundance of olive trees and florals. The gardens overlook the city of Prato, which is beautiful observed at sunset, so peaceful. The city of Prato is walkable, about 35 minutes or so, there is a steep incline on the way back to the property as it is on a hillside. Riccardo was responsive and so nice and welcoming, he kindly picked us up and dropped us back at the train station. Overall a wonderul stay in Prato, if peace and beautiful surroundings is what you are looking for then we thoroughly recommend Casa degli ori.

The villa itself was stunning, with breathtaking views and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and unwind. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a taste of Tuscan charm and hospitality. We can't wait to stay here again next time we're in Italy!

The house in the woods-Le Susine, Canal di Sasso

DaniilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful home in a beautiful area. Can step from the backyard onto miles and miles of beautiful hiking trails to the nearby, incredible views from the second outdoor dinner table, house was clean and surprisingly well-equipped for how rural the area is (dependable power, warm shower, thoroughly well-stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, comfortable beds, clean and delicious spring water available from the taps, the works). Host was very responsive and helped with issues, even despite not being in the area the weekend of our visit, and they sent someone (Marco) to help bring our things, drive to and from the town center, and treat us to some local wine and fresh bread when we arrived. Marco was also very responsive, one text away, and happy to help with anything that we needed. Overall a really comfortable and beautiful accommodation. Would happily stay again.

Villino Iolanda

GabrieleRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My friends (group of 6) and I had a good time. The house is nice, tidy, and close to several walking trails, and the kitchen is very well stocked. The person who welcomed us was also very nice and approachable. The only inconveniences of the house are the bathrooms, which are small, and the underground room that is located from the main house; for small groups and for short stays it is perfect

buriano house - Fabio

StefanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Arrive and feel right at home! The images can only partially reflect the reality. A lovingly decorated house, good beds, great pool (unfortunately we were too early for bathing) and a breathtaking view. Absolute tranquility and still well located. Elena and Giulia are not only Superhosts, but Super Mega hosts! Grazie mille per tutto! Ci piacerebbe tornare nella tua bellissima casa

IL SUNSET APARTMENT

JayRating, 5 stars20 months ago
We loved our stay in the house. The views were lovely and the location meant was very quiet. This did mean to go anywhere we had to drive, which was totally fine :) The rooms were spacious and noise from the rooms above wasnt TOO bad when realise how old the place is and solid floors means noise will travel. I was working remotely from the home so the internet having occasional slow times was a little bit of a pain, but this didnt impact our stay too much. :) We only got to meet our host once due to how busy we both were, but we had no issues with communications, getting quick helpful replies if needed. We would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to relax just on the edge of the beaten track so to speak.

The house and the exterior are exactly as in the photos. The view is also stunning. We used it as a base to visit Florence, but we would also have liked to enjoy the tranquility of the area and the walks there. Recommended!

House in the Podere di Massi

DenisRating, 5 starstoday
Bucolic, a little retro, well-equipped, impeccable swimming pool, comfortable beds, a drinks and sweets dispenser that works with coins (€0.50, 1 and 2). And above all, calm and freshness. The access path is a little bumpy (nothing more), it's the price to pay for this adorable little corner of the earth: listen to "Corner of the earth" by Jamiroquai 😉

At Giulia's house

AuroraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Giulia's house was perfect for our stay, not far from various bus stops to reach all of Florence and from the train stop to reach Florence central station in 10 minutes. The area is quiet and pleasant to walk in the evening. The apartment is well furnished, cozy and functional. We had a really great time. Giulia is an excellent host, always available for any questions or information. A very positive stay.

Beautiful basement apartment belonging to an old mansion. Location is part of Prato on the edge to the hills so you are in a very quiet environment and very close to nature and trekking trails. You definitely need a car to get around from here . The apartment is spacious and very quiet. It has nice curved ceilings. perfect location for a retreat in a beautiful conclave. It was a truly enjoyable day because this is exactly what I was looking for.

Quite old farmhouse on the hills of Florence

GregRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was just what I was looking for. A Tuscan villa in the hills with a rustic style outside but excellent on inside. There was more space than expected: 3 queen size rooms and one twin, with 3 bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The library in the living space looks great (although you have to read Italian). Modern kitchen and great facilities. One minor challenge is the 3.7k drive off the main road to get to the property a you get used to it! Loved listening to the Cuckoos and other birds from the veranda Tommaso was an excellent and helpful host.

Antica Dimora a Campana

JeffRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at Sonia’s place was like a week in a fairy tale. To stay in an 18th century home in Tuscany with the front door on the town square and the private rear terrace with a million dollar view was extraordinary. As for comforts & conveniences: There’s a parking space in the gated backyard, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has lots of wine glasses. There’s also a well-stocked supermarket at the bottom of the backyard stairs. And if you see the food truck just below the center of town, be sure to stop for a sandwich. If you can get away from the terrace, Carolyn & Sonia recommended the restaurant Enoteca Baldi, and we do too.

Luxury Villa in the very heart of Chianti

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Il Leccio - Tuscany home near San Gimignano

MilaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The magnificent view can be enjoyed both as a couple and with friends. It is very quiet and everything has been thought of: outside there are very comfortable seating options, a grill and pool. The garden smells of jasmine everywhere. There is nothing missing inside either. The house is perfect and is in the perfect location. After a 20-minute drive, you will reach San Gimignano. Simply a dream and always worth a trip 😍

GUIDI POWER

TerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Wheelchair accessible Villa with Jacuzzi

GaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beatrice was an amazing host. She was very responsive to our questions and always very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was the perfect place for our group of 8 adults for 2 weeks. The location was perfect for visiting various sites around Tuscany. Florence, Cortona, Siena and Pisa. The nearby town of Greve had some nice little restaurants for lunch/dinner. After a long day of sightseeing we would gather on the patio to have charcuterie and wine. Or gather at the family style dining table each evening. We highly recommend having Beatrice provide a home cooked meal, it was excellent! There are several wineries and olive oil tastings in the area. We took advantage of many of them. Overall we were very happy and very comfortable with our stay. We highly recommend staying here. If we ever come back we are definitely staying here again. You'll definitely get the true feel of Tuscany.

Farmhouse in Chianti

DanielleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our Villa in Montespertoli was everything we could have wished for and more, full of all the modern conveniences required to cook if desired. The grounds were absolutely delightful and the hillside backdrop of grapevines etc was stunning to wake up to every morning in a secluded and peaceful place. We enjoyed many mornings having coffee around the poolside deck and afternoons sharing a glass of wine chatting with our friends after our many touring adventures. You definitely need to have a car to enjoy this Villa and surrounding areas like Pisa, Siena, hot Springs, San Gimignano to name a few. Our Caretaker Lia cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner to share on our last night which we enjoyed immensely. Thankyou for hosting us in your home, we didn’t want to leave.
