Very clean and well equipped apartment in short walking distance to the old town of Tropea and to the beach. The highlight is the terrace with an incomparable sea view, on a clear day you can see the Stromboli volcano and the sundown is fantastic.

Very nice pool. Marcello is a helpful and kind person. The apartment is very simple. I recommend bringing dish soap, toilet paper, and water.

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

My partner and I are traveling for two months (while working) and it's been our best experience with Airbnb. We've never had such a lovely host. He gave us clear instructions for check-in, but welcomed us in person and showed us the best places to eat and tips for getting around the city. I was ill and, not only wrote to ask if I had got better, but also helped me buy medication. The house was far from the noise and movement of the center, which we loved, but we were still very close and went out to eat in the city - which is gorgeous, we left completely in love. We spent the morning on the beach, worked from the apartment in the afternoon and went out for a walk in the evening. We want to have the opportunity to go back on vacation and enjoy the city more. Thank you for hosting us, Pasquale. You were sensational and we loved your space.

Big and beautiful Apartment in Perfect Position

We had a perfect stay at Francesca‘s place, she was very friendly and quick in communication, we could check in earlier and her husband even drove us to a big supermarket on the other side of town, as it was a public holiday when we arrived. The apartment is spacious, clean and with a balcony with sea view, which we loved. We highly recommend to stay in Francesca‘s place!

Francesco is a very nice host. We used Google Translation to communicate because we didn't speak Italian. The accommodation is clean. The furniture (apart from the fridge, washing machine and microwave which are new) is dated but functional and that's all we needed. Although noisy, the portable air conditioner saved our nights. Indeed we are not used to sleeping under such temperatures. A pair of earplugs and it's all set. The bathroom is refurbished, it's appreciated. The garden is amazing, passion fruit, lemons, oranges... a real joy. Travel can be done on foot for the beach or restaurants. These 2 days off in our road-trip were at their best. Grazie Francesco!

Adriano's apartment is already overwhelmed by its location: views of the isola madre from the bedroom, beautiful terrace overlooking the end of the two beaches, beautiful sunsets...Sometimes we had to tear ourselves away to go to the town or to the beach. In the apartment we had everything we needed. Adriano was super nice: since our train was delayed, he picked us up directly at the station and carried me down the heavy suitcase to the apartment. Otherwise, I received an immediate response if I had any questions and he booked the taxi for us. We highly recommend the apartment and Adriano's kindness!

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

The accommodation in Santa Maria is highly recommended: The apartment is functionally furnished and the garden is romantic. You can hear the sound of the sea and the beach is just a short walk away. Anna is a warm and helpful person. She responds immediately and also helped us a lot with an evening noise nuisance. In short: When visiting the Costa degli Dei, the house in Santa Maria is a great address - we would come back anytime. Thank you very much, Anna, for everything!

We were fully satisfied with the stay . A nice quiet and quiet apartment in the greenery, satisfied requests regarding the borrowing of kitchen utensils that the host kindly gave us, the convenience of the location to reach Tropea and surroundings (of course with the car, since the house overlooks the state road). Luca is an excellent host, friendly and always ready to help! from the beginning he gave us a guide to all the sights. The apartment is as in the photos, it is fresh and when it is too hot it has portable air conditioning (it works well) it has a huge terrace! It has everything you need! Ricadi Station is 20 min on foot. Groticelli beach 5 min, Tropea 15 min (all by car) Everything was very beautiful, the beaches in general are wonderful and we will certainly repeat. Thanks Luca :)

Luigi and Teresa were always quick to reach if we had any questions or issues. Teresa was very nice and helpful and gave us good advice for the area and helped us if we had any questions. The place itself was good for the price. It was clean and had everything you need.

The place was great. The garden and apartment were very well maintained. The kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped. The area is very quiet, the beach can really be reached in less than 10 minutes. The host gave great tips and was very kind. We will be happy to come back! Highly recommended!

A very easy check-in, clean apartment and host answered our questions. I highly suggest having a car because it's easier to visit the surrounding area, do laundry and groceries. We really appreciated the tranquility of the place and the air conditioning.
