Manoir du Boscau, Gilles of the Forest

Our Manoir du Boscau is located in the Dordogne valley, opposite the majestic castle Castelnau-Bretenoux in the north of the department of Lot. The Manoir was built around 1450 by the Benedictine monk Gilles del Bosce, dean of the priory of the nearby Carennac. The estate consists of a private park garden with various terraces and seating areas surrounded by 10 hectares of forest and meadow, including a small private lake.

Forget your worries in these former bed and breakfasts modified as an independent gite, adjoining my home, with a capacity of up to 10 people. Summer kitchen with breathtaking views of Loubressac. Located 500 meters from the castle of Castelnau-Bretenoux, 15 minutes from the Padirac cave, 30 minutes from Rocamadour and Collonges-la-Rouge. Linens and towels are not provided.

Accommodation consists of 3 buildings (17 m2 chalet for the bedroom, dry toilet, kitchenette and bathroom), shaded terrace. Three dwarf goats in an enclosure nearby will keep you company.
