Il faut également souligner la présence sur place de Donatella, une personne exceptionnelle. Nous ne pouvons que vous encourager à découvrir ce lieu unique

Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.

I proprietari della casa fin dalla prenotazione al check-out si sono dimostrare alla chiarezza e alla cordialità. Sono attenti a mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti e sono premurosi nel chiarire qualsiasi quesito gli venga posto. L’alloggio si è rivelato ancora più accogliente e di estrema particolarità rispetto alle foto infatti l’origine della casa come ex mulino, rende l’ambiente intrinseco di storia e di piacevole energia. Nonostante l’abitazione sia di fronte ad una piccola stradina di passaggio, la natura che la circonda e il vicinissimo torrente che l’affianca, che può essere gustato nel giardino che fa parte della proprietà, dà la possibilità di trovarsi in uno spazio di relax. La natura viene respirata a pieni polmoni e la comodità della posizione permette di raggiungere diversi percorsi di trekking. In sintesi: ci ritorneremmo altre mille volte!

Haus mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber das gehört bei so einem kleinen Bergdorf wohl dazu (ebenso wie die leckere örtliche Pizzeria). Haben die Unterkunft als Basis für Ausflüge in die ganze Toskana genutzt, man könnte aber alleine für die Landschaft mehrere Tage dort bleiben.

Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

Beautiful stay, definitely one of my favourites on airbnb so far. This apartment has everything you need. Convenient location by car to other places in Florence. Loved the kitchen as it is fully equipped. Even has an espresso machine! Highly recommend

‘Peaceful’ is the word to describe this space and the entire surrounding area. The home is perfect, with everything that you need. The view, the grounds, the pool are all wonderful. Catrina’s hospitality - attention to detail and communication are top notch. Wonderful recommendations for neighboring restaurants and a day trip into Florence. My stay was incredible and I hope to return one day. Grazie mille Catrina!

Wir haben 5 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht, und würden immer wieder noch einmal anreisen. Die Familie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ein kleines Highlight für uns persönlich war der Hund (Bako) und die Katzen. Die Unterkunft an sich war noch schöner als auf den Bildern und hat uns positiv überrascht. Die Temperatur ist ein paar Grad niedriger als in den größeren Städten unten. Ein weiterer erwähnenswerter Punkt ist das Restaurant, welches zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Eine kleine, charmante Pizzeria mit sehr guten Pizzas. Zusammenfassend sehr empfehlenswert!
