Cottage holiday rentals in Puente Pumar

Host and their family went out of their way to assist us. Together we looked through our trip itinerary and made additional suggestions where appropriate. They helped us when we broke down with a flat tire communicating with the rental car company to get us a new rental and tow truck. Our last day we thought we had left some items at the rental after we had checked out and they went back to open the house up to allow us to get back inside and find our items. Very friendly. The house was great and overlooks a valley with the towns below. We were visited by cows and sheep and all the snails and slugs natural to the area. After hiking, biking, and visiting the surrounding towns it was a nice relaxing spot to come back to. I would highly recommend!

Highly recommended. We spent two nights, a group of 8 friends. The house is beautiful, spacious, cozy, tastefully decorated, has all the details. We were very pleased, and looking forward to repeating.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

The house is great both for spending the weekend without leaving it and for taking walks in the area. Reinosa and supermarkets are very close by. Salomé could not have been more attentive to us, she helped us with everything and took care of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for everything.

Beautiful little house at the foothills of the Picos de Europa, in a very quiet hamlet. Neat, tidy, picturesque, with all the necessary amenities. Very close to the Bulnes funicular and trails. Be mindful of the narrow streets and ways and limited parking. Everyone in our party was similarly pleased. Juanjo was very helpful.

We're so glad we spent those days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for roommate with these two wouhs wouhs and these 4 ducks 😍

Ideal accommodation for a few days of disconnection. As you can see in the photos, everything is impeccable and the surroundings are wonderful. Patricia has been very attentive and kind. And... The bath in the jacuzzi is a must, spectacular! In addition, it is perfect for going with a pet. We will repeat!

A beautiful house in the mountains, the place is surrounded by nature, it is wonderful to disconnect and be calm. The house has everything: for cooking, for watching TV, for showering and bathing, for breakfast outside with stunning mountain views, heating and hot water that works very well. Elena was very kind from the first moment and explained everything we needed. To repeat, without a doubt.

We had a great time, the house is beautiful and has a spectacular view. Javi recommended a lot of activities in the area and was very friendly, hopefully repeat soon!

We stayed 6 nights in mid June to explore the area, do some walking, visit places and to drive some of the scenic routes of the area. The place is high up above the valley up a fairly narrow road and through 2 small villages before you get to San Roman. Our host provided pictures showing how to find the house which was useful. The location is very quiet and surrounded by trees, fields and views of the mountains. Our host also provided lots of useful information about walks and scenic drives in the area, the nearest beaches on the coast and local recommendations where to eat. The cats that live round about kept us amused. We had a great time.

Everything was great. Communication with Daniel and Claudia was perfect. The house is amazing. Everything is pristine. The views are incredible. We really enjoyed it.

The place is located in a prime area as the surroundings are really beautiful, with a stunning view. The house is very nice and the garden and the barbecue area one pass, it is the definition of being surrounded by nature.

It was a great stay, the house with everything you need and super cozy. Very quiet area to enjoy nature, in a spectacular and focused environment to visit any point of Cantabria. Israel was very friendly, she gave us places to go and eat. I tip the towel and blanket for our little dog. Thank you for everything, luxury vacation!

Great peaceful location, easy to find with parking in front. Clean and well equipped

Beautiful house just as is in the pictures. Fresh flowers in the bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen gave it that little extra. Jose is a great host: both friendly and professional. The hiking opportunities are closeby, with stunning views. I'd definetely go again if I'm in the area.

A very nice and beautiful place with a good and quiet location.

The house was beautiful, situated in a quiet, peaceful, rural haven. It is well equipped with everything you could want for a stay, and very comfortable. The drive up through the village is no problem and there is good parking right next to the house. Jamie was a great host. Very friendly and responsive, good ideas for things to do and very helpful information generally. We had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay at David's place. Fantastic location. 20 mins walk to Capricho De Gaudi (Fantastic place, don't miss), and a few minutes further walk to Comillas. Supermarket nearby too. The home itself is warm and comfortable with a sunny outdoor area with table/chairs and lounges. David is lovely and so helpful. Just something to be aware of is that the 2nd bedroom is upstairs and stairs are steep and narrow, so may not suit everyone. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

A last minute booking led us to discovering this property and location, if you want wild beach and not a lot more it is perfect. Supermarkets are only a 15 mins away. For autumn surf it was simply epic

Overall the property was everything we expected with good excess to the exceptional beaches in the area. Also the hike located on the mountain behind the house gave a great view of the coastline. The property provides excellent value for the money.

It’s really lovely here. It’s so quiet and peaceful. This house is spacious and absolutely perfect. It’s so clean and modern with an immaculate, pretty garden with plenty of seating dotted around it. The kitchen is well-equipped and makes rustling up a meal so easy. The bathrooms are again well-equipped, with a beautiful basket of assorted toiletries in each. The huge, soft, white bath towels and pristine white bedding are professionally laundered. There is no expense spared here. It is all top quality. The beach is beautiful, so close on a short walk away. I’ll miss watching the cows with their bells over the garden fence. The bull keeps them in line and chases them up the mountainside in the mornings and leads them back down later in the day. There are little calves too. They are a joy to watch. Paloma is a wonderful host and I hope we can return here one day.
